so much for popular support. Now Z is gonna come in and give a song and dance about why there has to be a ceasefire instead of a settlement, and claim he cant cede land..Trump needs to walk away
The question I would have asked is "Are they willing to give up Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, and Crimea to Russia to end the war?" I don't believe Putin will accept anything less. As for NATO membership, perhaps a clause where Ukraine would immediately become a NATO member if any further attack by Russia ever occurs.
What does the Russian population think? Most Ukrainians now favor ending the war with Russia through negotiations, as support for fighting until victory has dropped sharply since the early days of the conflict. Although their hopes for joining NATO and the European Union have faded and approval of U.S. leadership has plummeted, Ukrainians still see the EU, U.K. and U.S. as key to ending the war. Yet, most doubt that will happen anytime soon.Ukrainian Support for War Effort Collapses
New data from Ukraine show the public favors ending the war with Russia through negotiations, as support for fighting until victory has plummeted.news.gallup.com
More than three years into the war, Ukrainians’ support for continuing to fight until victory has hit a new low. In Gallup’s most recent poll of Ukraine — conducted in early July — 69% say they favor a negotiated end to the war as soon as possible, compared with 24% who support continuing to fight until victory.
This marks a nearly complete reversal from public opinion in 2022, when 73% favored Ukraine fighting until victory and 22% preferred that Ukraine seek a negotiated end as soon as possible.

Unsurprisingly, 64% of russians favour peace negotiations. SInce you know, theyre getting everything they want because the west is seemingly okay with the same ethnic cleansing they have accused China of for years if it means they dont have to do anything. What does the Russian population think?
Gee, i wonder how this percentage has been affected by the fact the people that agreed to protect Ukraine in exchange for them to give up their nukes have now actively began to undermine them in their hour of need

My oh my!! The warmongers sure aren't gonna wanna see that. I must say, people with just plain common sense have known this to be true for quite awhileMost Ukrainians now favor ending the war with Russia through negotiations, as support for fighting until victory has dropped sharply since the early days of the conflict. Bingo. If 69% of them favor ending the war through negotiations but 75% object to ceding any land to Russia then the majority of Ukranians appear to support something that is not on the table. This is not particularly useful information.
They should have asked if they support ending the war, even if it means giving up Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson, because according to Russia that is the only option on the table for ending the war.
Interesting that those who support the victim against the aggressor are portrayed by MAGA as "warmongers".My oh my!! The warmongers sure aren't gonna wanna see that. I must say, people with just plain common sense have known this to be true for quite awhile
Why should the aggressor be rewarded for having seized land it has no right to?Why, exactly, should Putin be rewarded for having taken land from Ukraine?
Uh oh. Here it is, the standard warmonger "Russian agent" allusion. Guess all the warmongers are disappointed., though probably baffled. After all, if THEY don't value life, why would anybody else?? What's wrong with those Ukrainians anyway?? Why don't they want their boys killed??You really are against Ukraine and Zelensky. Why is this?
Yep, reminding readers that the Republican Party is now the party of putin HAS become a new "standard".Uh oh. Here it is, the standard warmonger "Russian agent" allusion. Guess they're disappointed., though probably baffled. After all, if THEY don't value life, why would anybody else??
