Why? You may ask. Isn't it obvious, because I can't think of a thing that is more obvious. It's the long planned right-wing coup (because a black man was president for eight years ) against the laws and Constitution of the United States just in time for the first convicted felon president of the United States, with the "hallowed" Supreme Court of the United States leading the way

If ever there was a need to "check presidential power" it would be now with the most corrupt, criminally convicted, accused pedophile rapist, sexual assaulter, pathological liar, and destroyer of the norms of the office of president, and the government of the United States to ever win the presidency.
I can't think of a thing that would now change the course we are on except for overwhelming opposition, or civil war.

yawn...

The outraged, over-the-top rants like this one are getting old and tiring.

Over the top? Disprove it then. You can't.
What's getting tired, and increasingly embarrassing, is your shilling for a convicted criminal and accused pedophile rapist president and his criminal confederate Congress.

sigh...

So, you double down on your rant. Do you think that makes it any more relevant?

So, since you don't disprove the subject, and say it's irrelevant, all you got is a shrug? Surprise, surprise from someone who supports pedophile rapists.

No, I have a yawn, too.

And here you go with your nonsense personal attack. Typical of someone who has found out their rant was ineffective.

Sorry, but you are STILL boring.

If ever there was a personal attack that was needed...
The fact that you just brush it off says it all.
As for the thread subject, I know you aren't concerned about the rampant criminality in your selected government, which also speaks volumes about you, so just do your usual deflection from the truth, prove what you are to everyone here, and just slink away.

The conservative Roberts Court is openly partisan and openly corrupt.

The goal of Roberts is to usher-in a 'unitary executive' form of government.

Under this schema, a president will enjoy virtually dictatorial powers.

This is an attack on the court system itself. Just the other day, the SCOTUS admonished the lower courts for following the law and precedent instead of following their lead.

"Under existing law, members can be removed only for “neglect of duty or malfeasance,” but Trump went ahead and fired them anyway, as he has done at other agencies with similar restrictions as part of his aggressive efforts to reshape the federal government.

The Supreme Court in May allowed him to fire members of the National Labor Relations Board and the Merit Systems Protection Board, casting aside precedent dating to 1935 that upheld removal protections.

The unsigned order Wednesday said the latest case was "squarely controlled" by what the high court decided then."

All hail King Donald.

Who knew in the last 200+ years that it was OK for the SCOTUS to enable criminals? Oh look, all it took was the first criminal president and the return of the traitorous confederacy. None of it can be construed from the founding documents.

How does favoring a unitary executive make one "openly partisan and openly corrupt?"

Article II of the Constitution explicitly states that "the executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America." He is either their boss or he isn't. If he isn't, then the executive power is being vested in someone other than "a President of the United States of America."
