Guess that answers my question. :shrug:According to what I am reading, Britain, France, and some Arab countries.
It's 10:30 PM, WHERE THE **** IS THE DECLARATION OF WAR???? If Obama goes to battle without one, I'm going to insist on impeachment.
No, no I won't. It can no longer be the responsibility of the U.S. To be the world's enforcer. We can no longer afford to do it, and the sooner we pull back, the better we'll be able to get our own house in order.
You'll be the only liberal who does.
Furthermore, I want to see an Exit Strategy.
Well unless you're suggesting that American troops are going to be put on the ground (which I niether support, nor which will happen) I'd say your partisan point is moot and void.
I'm really sorry George The Boy King was blasted for Iraq.
But. It was deserved. Sorry Champ.
No going into battle without an exit strategy.
I got your sport right here.To have an exit strategy.
You must have an entry strategy.
Aircraft flying over land. Is not forces occupying land....
Try again sport :coffeepap
I got your sport right here.

Do we not have a burgeoning debt and budget deficit? One that almost everyone believes is a huge problem? I am merely asserting that the way to address this is through reduced military spending, which is a HUGE part of our budget, is it not? And, furthermore, do we not spend several times more on our military budget than any other nation? Why do we do that? Surely, this big government military outlay is the real reason we are in financial trouble. Surely this money that we spend on the military would be better left in the hands of private citizens, no?
He doesn't need it. We'e acting as an agent of the UN. HA! Hadn't you heard? Joke is on us again. It will be interesting to think ahead and imagine if US troops will make up part of the UN "peacekeeping force". The UN always votes to send in a peacekeeping force when there is no peace yet to keep. The UN...making the Middle East safe for another Sunni v. Shiite 1000 years war.Obama, that ****ing warmonger.....where the hell is his congressional declaration of war? Hmmm?????? Where the **** is it?
Please elaborate.

It's like Korea. That wasn't a war, but a lot of fine Americans died there. It was a UN "police action".
GET US OUT OF THE UN! is the oldest bumper sticker on my van.
There is no doubt that what Ike called the military-industrial complex is still alive and well in the old USofA. Having stated that some follow-up comment is needed.Do we not have a burgeoning debt and budget deficit? One that almost everyone believes is a huge problem? DISCLAIMER: The following comment is a frank observation by one adult to another and should not be taken to be trolling, baiting, flaming, DBAJ or any other personal abuse manner that mods here seem to think is every comment I make. Adult people are responsible for the opinion content of their posts and fair criticism delivered in measured sarcasm is quite appropriate considering that "civility a MUST" as a basic precept is respected. No, I won't. It will make no difference to me if they screw it up, with respect to how I feel about what we should do. I have already accepted that, without our leadership, the world's downtrodden may not do as well.
I think paying down our debt is more important than expensive adventures.
Fox News said:Announcing new international measures Friday against Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, President Obama called it "just one more chapter in the change that is unfolding across the Middle East and North Africa." But some of the president's announcement seemed to take a page from a similarly historic announcement by his predecessor -- even though one senior White House official said making any connection is "reading too much into it."
Obama closed Friday's remarks by saying, "I've taken this decision with the confidence that action is necessary, and that we will not be acting alone. Our goal is focused. Our cause is just. And our coalition is strong."
Nearly a decade earlier, when President George W. Bush announced that U.S. forces were launching military strikes in Afghanistan, Bush said: "To all the men and women in our military ... I say this: Your mission is defined. Your objectives are clear. Your goal is just." Bush used similar wording in other remarks at the time.
Good timing that you should say that. Last week I came out of a store and noticed that my 2nd Amendment blue and white sticker has a corner pulled away on it. I looked about and spotted a guy about late 20s walking away at about 100' distance I got in my van, started it up and turned slowly around so as not to spook him and then gunned it for him. It was a shopping center and he changed course and ran behind the supermarket building at full sprint with me catching up quickly. An 18 wheeler, likely just having made a delivery was just starting up so he panicked and jumped up on the 6' metal chain-link fence and went over it into a residential backyard running. I jumped out yelling that I'd get his ass next time and then noticed a shred of his shirt on the rusty fence and a trickle of blood below it. That made my day.Nobody has vandalized your ride?! You must not have a Bush/Cheney sticker on it
Do we not have a burgeoning debt and budget deficit?
Moore from a McDonald's in WI said:America is not broke.
Contrary to what those in power would like you to believe so that you'll give up your pension, cut your wages, and settle for the life your great-grandparents had, America is not broke. Not by a long shot. The country is awash in wealth and cash.
It means he's incapable of coming up with any counter argument that actually has some coherence and/or relevance.
Sounds like conservatives would rather continue enriching the bloated military industry through government largesse and instead impoverish the middle and lower classes in their old age, gut the education system that has provided the prosperity we all enjoy, and let the poor die in the streets from disease and injury. This is their solution to the budget problems. Completely unsurprising, as I stated earlier. You do realize that when we become less prosperous through all this kind of stupidity that we will then have to cut the military budget after all, right? Or that the rich will be forced to pay a hugely progressive tax in order to support it?
