U.S. Promised Windfalls From Japan Deal. Tokyo Has Other Ideas.

"Why is the Republican base so ****ing stupid?"

Because that is the mindset that Dysfunctional Donald appeals to.

He is unable to gain great support among the well educated, mature and well adjusted. It tears him up that he cannot appeal to the more sophisticated, so he indulges in appealing to the immature, discontented and poorly informed. He has to have loads of attention to satisfy his attention addiction, so he takes what he can get; any way he can get it. He is secretly ashamed of himself, which accounts for the perennial scowl and bad mood.
 
Several of these deals involve promises of " investment " and "purchases" but they aren't defined in terms of when, how and what and there are no binding contracts. Besides which it's businesses that have to do these things not the governments.I'll believe it when I see it.

What I read before being asked to subscribe was that those 'investments' would be mostly loans and loan guarantees.

Yes, but a real corporation has to want to take out that loan and invest it in the US. I'm betting it's a short line up. Maybe some auto makers.

Because after 20+ years, a person would have to be a lazy hate-driven imbecile to get news disinfo from Fox and only those sources that agree with what Fox says.
 
From what I can tell, Donald has yet to create even a single actual trade deal. What little he has done is in the form of EOs describing what the US side will do in exchanges for promises by the other party to whom a White House EO is not binding anyway.
