Well, if your standard for improvement is that every single person has it better, then things will never be better.Things are NOT better for millions of Americans as the 6 million part time for economic reasons shows.
I've never commented one way or the other on that.Any improvement is due to the private sector NOT anything Obama did for no one can point to the policies that improved the economy
There is no question you understand BLS data but you do not understand the private sector economy

Oh? What don't I understand?
Nothing. No credit, no blame. I'm not here to support or disparage any politician. So your goal is to give Obama credit for what? .

There are 4 ounces of water in an 8 ounce cup.
My point all along has been about leadership and economic policies. The recession began in December 2007 and ended in June 2009. It was a financial recession that was created over time and the solution to the financial problem was TARP submitted by Paulson and signed by Bush. I was NOT for this plan but it did recapitalize the banks even though it just kicked the can down the road. There was nothing in the Obama stimulus that focused on the financial crisis. TARP money was used to take over GM/Chrysler whereas the Obama stimulus gave a small tax rebate to the American public and provided tax incentives, called tax cuts by the left, to buy things that most people affected by the recession couldn't do because they didn't have the money to do it. Jobs were not created as projected, democrat donors were bailed out and when the stimulus failed as reported rather than focus on the economy, Obama went to ACA. That is incompetence.
The stimulus was destined to fail because it did nothing to promote growth in the private sector and that is why I continue to point to Obama incompetence and lack of leadership
and what has come out of the Republican controlled Congress to fix Obama's policies?
Not much which is why change at the top is needed. You keep electing the same people over and over again expecting different results and as Einstein stated that is insanity.
Exactly.
Time to throw the rascals out. Let's start a campaign to vote against all of the incumbents, regardless of party.
I strongly believe in Term limits and returning most of the power to the states. The size of the Federal Govt. is what gives the politicians the power and that power needs to be taken away

Yes, except that state governments are just as prone to inefficiency, corruption, and unbridled growth as the federal government is.
Nah, just the libs. God will take care of the rest.
That is true but most states have TERM limits so you can make the changes as necessary. In addition what I like about TX is the part time legislature with no full time politicians. TX Legislature meets every two years except in an emergency called by the governor. Would love to see that at the Federal Level which is what our Founders created
You think God is going to unseat all of the Republicans?
You think God is going to unseat all of the Republicans?
Nah, just the libs. Everybody knows God loves Republicans the best.
I thought we had to unseat the "libs" and God would take care of the Republicans.
No, I think it's up to us, the voters of this great nation, if we're ever going to get a functioning Congress.
"God acts in strange and mysterious and wonderful ways."
If she didn't, and if she really does meddle in humans' politics, then the rise of Donald Trump is certainly mysterious.
Maybe not so wonderful, but definitely mysterious.
I still blame Republican voters for him though, and not the almighty.
