U.S. businesses pull back from hiring due to unease about outlook, ADP says (1 Viewer)

Yep.

Hiring has essentially ground to a halt except for critical positions.

The talent acquisition/recruiting world has been chattering about this for a couple months now.

Next up: layoffs.

Anyone who has been involved in the employment industry/lifecycle/sector of the economy for any period of time clearly sees the writing on the walls.

🤷‍♀️

My son and his fiance are trying to make the move to NY this year for her to go to grad school. Much of that hinges on whether or not he can find a job. Trump is going to make that much harder for them.

Heck, he's going to make it much harder for me to retire at the end of the year for that matter, because I too will want to actually continue working elsewhere (I'm only 58 and I don't really want to retire, it's more to do with what happens to my pension if I don't).

I posted that was coming months ago.

Leopard, eat faces.

Trump costing us jobs and growth. Seems about right.
