There is no longer welfare. What we have is programs that provide food assistance (SNAP), healthcare (Medicaid), housing assistance, and child care. Most people getting Medicaid are children or seniors in nursing homes. Most receiving SNAP are children. So yah, those lazy kids and old people need to get a job!
