Trump has continued to widen his lead in Battleground states while cutting Harris's lead in the popular vote by almost 60%. His stunt at McDonald's was a hit, and montages of Harris changing positions have gone viral.

On the Democratic side, it is hard to imagine anything Harris has not tried. Every interview has fallen flat, or worse. Ads against Trump have changed little and signs of panic and fear dot the headlines.

Is the race over except for the clean-up?

I'm still feeling good about a Harris win. Trump's McDonald's stunt is just noise much like everything he tries. Not going to change much. Harris is still out there doing her thing and Dems ground game is where it needs to be in swing states. Got more postcards to finish up today and mail out to swing states. Early voting looks good for Dems, too. Two week countdown!!!!!

If you think this is anything but a dead heat based on those numbers you don't understand what you are seeing.

And I am still in the same place I was when it all started, bemoaning the lack of palatable choice.
When is enough going to be enough?
When are we, as a supposed intelligent populace, going to DEMAND better choices for our consumption?

Currently it is like grade school "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit"

If you can't tell the clear difference between the two candidates, that's a you problem.

This is me trying to get into an honest discussion with you guys.

"Trump is ****en nuts. He's trying to throw his political enemies in prison and talking about doing military tribunals on the generals who spoke out about his unfitness for office".

And your response would be Kamala just as bad because what?

Trump campaigns against himself daily by just speaking. Democrats don't have to do anything.

I don't believe in polls but just by your data you shouldn't either. Clinton was outside the margin of error and still lost. That should tell you something.

The part I'm VERY pleased about are the battleground state polls. In comparison to both of the previous elections, those look good for Trump overall.

I agree about the McDonald's idea. Trump and team are quite clever about things like that.

Who is you guys?
What part of my post was confusing to you?
The fact that we are left this choice is an ALL of us problem, regardless of you being able to discern your preferred choice of the two bad options.

None of that changes the fact that they are 2 bad options.

As I've said if you can differentiate between the two candidates fit for office that's a you problem.

You guys as in the group of people who trying to equivocate Harris being in the same level as Trump.

We can go through Cons of each candidate and it's not even in the same stratosphere how awful Trump is.

Good grief. My post was not a comparison of the two.

They are both bad choices, we deserve better.

That is a comparison when you say both are bad choices. You're putting them on equal footing which they clearly are not.

RCP uses Rasmussen, which was proven to be bunk polling.
Find better polling sources.

Nope.

They are both bad choices.

One can be better or worse but still be BAD.

And they are.

(Poll) How does the 2022 Midterm election finish when the votes are counted?
[Your Vote] Red Wave--Republicans are +2 in Senate and +30 in House

grifter knows no bounds

The more people see of Harris, they less they like her. She's just not very smart, and it really shows in interviews.

Democrats would much rather rage over french fries than talk about Kamala.

We can talk about what each candidates wants to do but you never go for that because your candidate says the most insane things.

There is some truth to this.

The same can be said of Kamala Harris.

I don't believe in polls but just by your data you shouldn't either. Clinton was outside the margin of error and still lost. That should tell you something.
Clinton won the popular election by 5 million votes.

Despite Bush in 2000, few people paid close attention to the battleground states.

This is true. Trump is about 5% ahead of his 2020 polling numbers in battleground states.

I agree about the McDonald's idea. Trump and team are quite clever about things like that.
Trump is a showman.

Are you calling it? 🤣
Hardly.

Trump is a length ahead coming out of the final turn but the race isn't over.

That missed. REpublicans polled three million more votes than Democrats but lost most of the close races.

Democrats used a battleground state strategy in the House. It was nicely done.

Nailed that one.

Harris got a "Anyone but Biden" bump. Now people are realizing she's to the left of admitted socialist Bernie. Her rating put her only to the right of Warren.

"You're in the wrong rally" when someone yelled "Jesus love you!" Will be iconic. Lol.

Nailed that one.

Hi, Jay59.

I'm a fellow scientist, a chemist, also with graduate work in statistics. I used applied statistics in my eventual position as director of quality assurance in the medical device field.

I suspect, without proof, that there is a pool of those who will vote in this election but have escaped capture by the pollster's net. I look forward to November 6th -- I'm not going to stay up late on the 5th -- to see if my hunch was correct.

Then, of course, comes that long, litigious period until January 20th. That presents a lovely canvas for talking heads, pundits and talk show hosts to sketch their maybe's, could's, perhapses and conspiracy theories. I'll find other amusements during that interregnum.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.
