I never once said that I supported Hillary. If she stated openly that she planned to seperate business from government, I would gladly give her a chance.

The alterantive would be to vote for the party that refused to negotiate the current energy bill because they (republicans) do not want strip big oil of the government subsidies that are given them.

Again, more proof that republicans serve their special interests and not the people. The same people made direct threats that the price of gas would rise if big oil and big coal were stripped of their subsidies (which are paid for through the flitching of the middle class) and corporate welfare.

I find this behavior unpalatable and I find the republican will to sell the American people to the highest bidding big business ABSOLTELY DISTASTEFUL.

2) Who provides the jobs for the middle-class? Who pays the middle-class for their jobs? Who does jobs for the middle-class? And who constantly gets tax raises despite of these two factors? BIG BUSINESSES
I'm not saying that being swayed by them is right (not all republicans do this; just about every politician has "experience" in lobbying--you're just doing another rant about the republicans, for a reason that applies to all politicians--just complain about politicians in general), however the big businesses take a lot of crap for what they do. First, who employs over half of americans? Definately not the government--they're deep enough in debt already; the answer: Big businesses. Without them, most people would be unemployed. In fact, they helped get the U.S. out of the great depression--they needed lots of workers to grow financially, and the workers, obviously, needed the work. The money gained by the big business is then used to pay the workers, plus the head guys who make it all possible (ya, the big guys who make it possible deserve their reward too--although, a large portion of it is taken out to further support the middle class, plus people who are too lazy to get of their asses and get a job). So, ya, I'm pretty glad we have big businesses.

As for the "big bad" oil and coal companies, they also provide a lot of americans with their jobs; they pay much higher taxes (so, they're really giving more money to the middle and lower classes than they are giving to the companies, as the companies can pretty much finance themselves). Also, regardless of what some people say, the emmittance of gas from cars isn't making that much of a difference. Now, I don't approve of some ways of obtaining gasoline and coal that harm the environment, and I know global warming is real. There are ways to get oil and coal in ways that barely affect the environment; as for global warming, consider how long the earth has been around--it is always in a state of global-warming or global-cooling; sometimes at rapid rates, sometimes at slower rates; it's going to happen at relatively the same speed (car emittance doesn't really speed it up that much), and other things contribute even larger to the warming and/or cooling (volcanoes, for one).

I don't mind if you start ranting about the corruptness of politicians, but don't single out a single party unless they are doing something that no other party is doing (which, at the time, means nothing).
