In the chilly, rough waters of the Aegean, tricky under the best of circumstances and downright treacherous in a flimsy migrant boat, a life vest can make the difference between life and death. But for the unlucky refugees who would have bought roughly 1200 life vests being manufactured in Izmir, Turkey, that was a false promise. The vests were fake, according to Associated Press, citing Turkish reports. They were made of a material that becomes heavy when soaked and would have caused their wearers to sink. Turkish police raided the workshop in Izmir - a port city that is often a departure point for migrants hoping to make it to Europe - and found workers stuffing the jackets with packaging rather than buoyancy aids, according to the BBC.
That's pretty evil right there.
Turkey promised European leaders it would slow the flow of refugees into the EU didn't it?
Murder is probably not the way to do that, though.
And just this week, the bodies of more than 30 people washed ashore in Turkey after their boats capsized in rough water while trying to reach the Greek island of Lesbos, according to the Associated Press. Some of the drowned migrants were children. Images from the terrible scene show that many of the migrants, including the kids, still wore the life vests that had apparently been of no use to them.
It is interesting and new comparison method that to judge a country by looking at a few criminals, while some countries tagged as developed and democratic officially do worse than those criminals, but still pass the moral and justice bar.
Turkey will not be judged by these criminals, but rather by how they deal with them, and how they ensure that future life vests are functional. The US, and other western countries are pumping millions of dollars into Turkey to help that country address the humanitarian needs of the Syrian refugees. Why is Turkey not using some of that money to provide REAL life vests to the migrants? What is Erdogan doing with all that money?
Turkey needs to step up. If this continues, Turkey should be charged with humanitarian crimes.
This is evil, indeed.
However, Sinking boats by military in Greece; building walls along with the borders, bribing a country for keeping refugees out of the continental Europe and USA, arming terrorist organisations in Syria will face no justice or morality condemnations in the world.

Have you really read my comment, especially:
and then i kept writing :
Now, I read your points bolded above, again.
- how they deal with them,
- other western countries are pumping millions of dollars into Turkey,
- Turkey needs to step up. If this continues, Turkey should be charged with humanitarian crimes.
I leave the rest for readers to judge.
I know exactly what you're doing. You're trying to deflect from what happened in Turkey by casting aspersions on others. That never works.
I remember your bogus claim about Greece sinking the boats. You posted a video that did backup what you claimed.
This is about Turkey and whether they should be spending the money the US is giving them to ensure these refugees make it safely to the shore.
Perhaps western nations should cut off funding if Turkey cannot arrange for safe passage?
When you come with facts and proofs, we can continue talking, untill that time no intention to satisfy your personal feelings.
I remember your bogus claim about Greece sinking the boats. You posted a video that did backup what you claimed.
Really? He posted a video that proved that Greece has been sinking refugee boats? Link please!
I had proved it; if any one still not convinced, i am ready to prove it again on one condition, only facts talk, not personal feelings.
Don't blether, just post what you believe is your proof and let us be the judges.
I do not talk by beliefs, but facts; that means i do not care what you will say or think, the reference points in judging situations do not change in some cases.
So, why won't you post the proof? Where are these facts?
I have not seen your stance yet, posting those links again are not a hard work, already posted some of them here before.
