Methinks the Republican revolt will put Pence out front with the Cabinet.
It's a matter of time, events, developments. The tax stuff and Deutsche Bank subpoena becoming public by German media opens the new dimension of the money connections Mueller has been nailing down. Mueller is a sub captain not a fisherman. Trump is a holiday cruise ship full of his cronies riding high in the water.
Pence is one of the guyz and the guyz are one with him over many years in Washington. Pence from Indiana served in the House and as governor. Mike Pence is a good ol' boy and holier than thou which makes him the perfect Republican Potus among Republicans, the lunar right and the Jesus Crackpots. He and Ben Carson at HUD for instance would break bread together like nobody's business. Rick Perry at Energy would kiss Pence's ring, bending at the fireplace. Education Sec. Betsy DeVos would get down on her knees before Pence and pray. Most of the Cabinet are Pence people, not Trump people. Sharply opposite Trump in fact.
WH lawyers and staff are trying to keep Trump tethered as best they can till it's time to hit the button under the conference table. Everybody in Washington knows Trump is compromised by Russian intelligence to include finance, money, personally -- completely. It's completely unacceptable in a Potus. Trump is a nuclear nutcase besides.
The Cabinet doing it relieves the Republicans in Congress of the whole long and ugly impeachment and the 2018 elections in which Bannon will primary 'em. Bannon has no relations or impact with the unelected Cabinet. The Cabinet and vp are the free agents accountable only to themselves who also enjoy safety in numbers. There's still a certain public respect of a Potus cabinet of either party.
Of the four principal cabinet officers since Washington's presidency, three are not people Trump can rely on. Trump would have only Minuchin on his side while he'd face a posse of Tillerson, Mattis, Sessions. That's three sheriffs and a bunch of deputies to saddle up and ride when the time comes, which won't be a long time in coming. Methinks this is the likely and safest bet all around for everyone. It seems a lot of people could think in this way. Sounds here like a plan.
It does get tiresome to have to explain things to you. That, on top of the boredom your posts produce.

Let me understand what you are saying, "[f]ailing to find any evidence of collusion or conspiracy to rig an election, Mueller is reduced to" investigating Trump's Deutsche Bank mirror trade transactions that show that he received laundered money from Russia which is evidence of collusion or conspiracy to rig an election.
Deutsche Bank doesn't deny that they were subpoenaed. As of when you wrote that comment last night, it doesn't appear that Mueller actually subpoenaed those bank records.
What do you make of that?
BUT, and here is the interesting thing, it does appear that Mueller may have a bunch of political hacks, who left quite interesting trails, on his investigative team.
He had been close to them, do you think he considered that their backgrounds would be problematic if uncovered?
You know ... make his investigation results suspect?
Or maybe you haven't heard about that.
Ah, the liberal mind at work. “Flynn chose to ruin himself”. That’s sickening.

Methinks the legal team could be getting paid in rubles.
What izzit now, 60 rubles to a buck which is something to chew on. Ten bucks in Russia could buy a hundred nothing burgers over there.
Now comes another stunning revelation: the Russians paid for their Facebook ads in rubles.
U.S. Senator says Russia paid for its pro-Trump Facebook ads in rubles - Palmer Report
Anyone PM me if you might know a good Russian ruble money exchange office near here. Americans are free to buy the ruble and to possess it although I'd definitely need more information. I like the new Deutsche Bank USA headquarters at 2 World Trade Center too. Lotsa rubles.
That’s not a burger, it’s a Dagwood sandwich.
Keep up little one. They were caught money laundering millions for the Russians.
No telling what Mr Mueller will find in Trumps financial records.

Nothing...
And how would you know?

...And as it turns out, the report of subpoenaed bank records is false. Imagine that. So there isn't any investigation into mirror trade transactions that, at the very least, require bank records. You've been had, and I bet it isn't the first time.
lol, you have no proof they're false, though, aside from the fact that Trump's team said so.
Just give me the man, and I'll find a crime. That's pretty much how Mueller is operating.
meanwhile, despite never doing anything other than governmental service work, the clintons and obamas are worth mega millions.
Not to sound arrogant, but I just do. Just like a bunch of other things they put out there about Trump that turned up to be false. This will be no different.

Trump gives every indication that he is going to fight, lay in a good store of popcorn.....
I suggest you make your peace with the fact that bank records were subpoenaed and move forward. We're both adults here -- you know that's where this is going.
So, IOW, you know nothing. Got it. Thanks.
Seems the bank(s) involved have confirmed that no records have been subpoenaed.
A Deutsche Bank spokesman in New York had no immediate comment beyond the statement the bank issued earlier on Tuesday which said the bank takes “its legal obligations seriously and remains committed to cooperating with authorized investigations into this matter.”
If that's the case, neither do you. But I know my stance on the matter has substance, logic, and truth, while yours doesn't. Hence that's why I'm confident that there's nothing there, but the farce that we call the Mueller Investigation will continue and will further produce lies. Especially when we found out that some members of the team were already anti-Trump from the get go.
I'm not saying that won't happen. That could and perhaps likely will happen. But the banks involved and the WH say no subpoena has been received, and I can't think of a reason they would deny something like that. Additionally, the issuance of a subpoena doesn't automatically result in the delivery of such records. What I have noticed is that articles claiming a subpoena has been issued - and there are a bunch of them - cite the ubiquitous "anonymus sources". Such sources could claim anonymity to avoid the illegality of a leak, or they could be reporting a rumor, or they could be making stuff up. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade here, but it may be a little too early to get the floats and confetti out. You're confused if you believe this affects me in any way other than the interest in the progress of this investigation and the veracity of the report that has so many giddy just now.
What do you think, is Mueller fishing through Trump’s bank records? If this is what Mueller is doing, is it to find evidence of collusion between Trump and Russian government agents, or just to see if he can find anything questionable relating to Trump?
Is Mueller’s investigation about collusion with Russia or about anything that implicates Trump in some questionable way? Should Mueller be searching through decades of records of Trump's financing to try and find evidence of collusion with Russian government agents last year?
