I predicted he would do this on an earlier post. First, he wears a blue suit and tie. Next, he and his wife step over the carpet which happens to be a holy symbol. It was bad enough when he chose to walk ahead of Queen Eliabeth, but this is a deliberate statement declaring himself more important than the Pope. "For the first day in office I will be a dictator" Trump failed to declare when he will no longer be a dictator.

OMIGOD!!!! He stepped on The Holy Carpet Of Eternal Life? Was anyone hurt?
 
I think he made some clear points with this charade

A. He is an oaf without decorum
(which is known around the world already)

B. He is mightier than the Pope and needs to be the center of attention.
That's why he stepped on holy ground, because he can and knows that his MAGAs will worship him regardless.
Just read posts in his defense.

Maga catholics/christians, they wouldn't care if he took center stage and cursed the Lord directly.
