Trump whines about Amazon exposing the cost of tariffs & Walmart's tariff price hikes.

Trump claims tariffs will "make America rich" but gets all bent out of shape when the cost to the consumer is made obvious on purchase receipts and by price hikes attributable to tariffs. Tariffs are a deceptive unlegislated tax that Trump prefers companies to either "eat" of to conceal from the public. Even the voters who were duped by his campaign grandstanding and fake promises are finally wising up about this con man. Trump claims tariffs will bring industry back to America and create high paying jobs. If, and until, Trump's betting on the come actually occurs what about all the jobs that are being terminated due to cost reductions required by companies like Walmart to "eat the tariffs" and/or to remain competitive. A con man never likes the truth to come out.
 
what the **** did he think would happen? that shareholders give up their dividends? corporate leadership has a fiduciary responsibility to maximize dividends.
 
I don't think Americans want to be on an assembly line 14 hours a day and earning $1.65 an hour like the people who currently manufacture our products.

And if they bring the factories back here and pay American wages then the prices of the products go through the freaking roof. There's not pretending this reality doesn't exist.
 
The people who manufacture our products can't afford to buy them. America is already rich and exploiting cheap foreign labor. Donald doesn't get that reality, but that's nothing new. Imaginary Donald world has nothing to do with reality. He just cooks this crap up in his head and then tries to force it on others. If it doesn't work then he goes into a hissy fit and starts insulting people. What a spoiled brat. Too bad Donald never grew up.
