The president's post to Truth Social Wednesday morning also implied that he could take action to arrest 'insurrectionist' mayors in those cities that uphold policies making it harder for federal immigration enforcement agents to do their jobs.

Another idiotic tantrum from the man with Chronic Penis Insufficiency.

Okay. Seriously. Trump sued Illinois over their Immigration Policies and the case was thrown out by the Judge. Why? Supreme Court Precedence that said that Immigration is the sole responsibility of the Government. Not to mention the Tenth Amendment.

Let me put it this way. Let’s say you are the County Sheriff. And you want to crack down on loud music from cars. You demand that the police in the city which I am mayor help you. I say no. Ignore the loud music. Let the sheriff do whatever he wants but do not assist. I’ve committed no crime. I am not interfering with you. I am simply hands off.

The problem is ICE is dumb. They are grabbing American Citizens. Grabbing folks with Green Cards which means people who are playing by the rules and using the process. The people in the Sanctuary Cities are not preventing ICE. They just aren’t helping. They are saying you are on your own.

To perpetual man child Trump this is intolerable. No one dare defy him.

I am pretty sure even of Trump somehow leaves office that this country is pretty cooked. There is no going back to a good government after this, no matter who gets elected. Too much power has been pushed into the executive branch.

Yes, and it happened way before Trump came along. Three presidents in the last 112 years grabbed sweeping, inordinate amounts of power - and they all came from the same party that begins with a D.

You are ignoring people like Nixon or Hoover in your analysis I see. Even then, it doesn't matter. We had pretty good balance among the branches until pretty recently.

So are we really going to act like Dick Cheney didnt basically invent powers for the Vice President? Gimme a break.....its not a one party problem, but it IS a problem.

I didn't ignore them, they're just not in the same league. Nixon tried to expand his power, but he got caught and reined in. He didn’t reshape the executive branch the way wilson, FDR, or LBJ did. Not sure why you're even mentioning hoover, he was a limited government guy.

Cheney wasn't president. He was influencial, but he didn't sign laws or issue EOs. The three scumbags I mentioned were institutional power grabbers. The amount of power they had at the end of their terms was vastly more than they had at the beginning.
 
I had Hoover confused with another person, actually. Ultimately though, I think the balance of power was fine even a decade ago. The problematic changes are more recent.

Uhm does commander McSh*twit realize America does not have the way or means to do what he's talking about. The resources needed to occupy the worlds largest cities just don't exist. Look at what it cost the US and it's allies (which we don't have anymore) to occupy and control just Baghdad or Fallujah or even sparsely populated villages in Afghanistan.
He wouldn't accomplish anything but destroying the US economy. He's a bag of hot air.
