My fear is that he's liberal Trump. Notice how Newsom has not criticized what Trump did in DC regarding the homeless. That's because he did something similar in California. Offensively, trump was selling bibles *he signed* - you don't do that - for $99. Newsom mocked it by advertising bibles he signed for $100 - but to not be offensive, he didn't really sell them, he put 'sold out' to advertise them but not actually sell them.

And you're wrong. For trump it's one of a hundred things and more abusing power. Newsom did not do the same thing, but it is a big political issue for Newsom and it makes sense he'd take some action. He's not like trump. His big 'abuse of power' is when as mayor of San Francisco, he married gay people before the court had made it legal. Don't think trump would do that.

I'd probably prefer AOC also - she has me a little worried like not being that strong on the rogue terrorist state - but Newsom might be the best 'more electable' candidate I'd be happy with. I'll need to see him be stronger if he runs on things like oligarchy, though.
