Do Republicans even remember Grover Norquist? Back in the ancient year of 2012, when Norquist's "no new taxes" pledge was signed by Romney and over 200 Republicans in Congress??? The Republican Party is obviously dead and buried now.

I shudder at what is about to happen to the U.S. economy over the next 18 months, until we can hopefully, finally, get some sanity back in Congress. Trump is a mad man, completely off the rails.

They do not love taxes. Once they realize they're the ones being taxed, they'll likely have some different opinions.

Too many of them chose to believe only foreigners would be paying the tariffs Trump "placed on" foreign countries' products.​

Paying for a tariff hike is like paying a sales tax hike except your state gets no added revenue, the feds do. MAGA must like and trust their federal govt to be more responsible or better stewards than they like or trust their state govt.

It makes me wonder why the voters in Mississippi, and Texas, and Idaho distrust their red state politicians so much more
