Trump supporters: Does it bother you that the immigrants Trump sent to CECOT were beaten and sexually abused?

The Venezuelans, rounded up in President Donald Trump’s mass deportation campaign, told The Post they were subjected to repeated beatings that left them bruised, bleeding or injured. They said prison staff restricted medical care for detainees suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure or kidney failure.

The men slept on metal bunks — usually with no cushions — in group cells where overhead lights blazed 24 hours a day. They were expected to bathe and relieve themselves using a water tank and toilets that offered no privacy from cellmates. They were rarely allowed out of their cells.

Three Salvadoran government spokespersons, provided with detailed accounts of the detainees’ allegations, did not respond to requests for comment. Damian Merlo, a U.S.-based lobbyist for Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, described the detainees as criminals who belong in prison, and said their claims are “baseless.”

One detainee was beaten unconscious. Others emerged from the dark isolation room covered in bruises, struggling to walk or vomiting blood. Another returned to his cell in tears, telling fellow detainees he’d just been sexually assaulted.

The Trump administration deported these unfortunates out of the United States to CECOT in El Salvador for legal and pragmatic reasons.

The brutal treatment they were subjected to in CECOT wouldn't be allowed in US prisons.

The pro fetus crowd. They couldn't give shit. Probably get off on it.

It's sick, it's disgusting, and the right are full of masochists that enjoy watching others suffer.
The only reason you would like that is because you dont have an honest point to make.
At least a majority of people seem to realize how depraved MAGA is.
No reason to believe a word of that. Or anything else you have to say.

You obviously support sending people to places to make them suffer. What is your stance on sending people to that prison? How about Libya or the other broken states Trump has proposed? Why don't you be honest and state if you think that coming to America illegal means you should be beaten or sexually assaulted?

That's what MAGA voted for.

one day the gangs and cartels and all those organizations with guns and people held in cecot, will unite behind a Leader.
who can marshal their people to take down the small nameless gulags of el salvador
who can grow the people they rescue into an army
who can liberate cecot.
who all will know as the Scourge of God
and on April 21, 2032, he will be coronated, and sit where trump has sat
and show americans that he is not their reflection
but they are his

Trump supporters: Does it bother you that the immigrants Trump sent to CECOT were beaten and sexually abused?

Nope, because I don't believe it actually happened. Just "sob stories" to pull the heart-strings of silly left-wing pseudo-liberals and socialist-democrats here in the USA.

CECOT is the same place many of the earliest deportees (including the so-called "Maryland Man") were sent. They are under 24-hour observation by guards who don't tolerate "disturbances."

The Venezuelan "Tren de Aragua" are among the worst of the worst criminals allowed into the USA when Venezuela emptied its prisons and sent them to mess with the USA. Almost as brutal and dangerous as the two gangs from El Salvador: Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) and the 18th Street Gang.

This is true. But neither El Salvadore nor Venezuela, nor for that matter Mexico or any other nation South of our border have to meet the "kinder, gentler" forms of imprisonment our citizens are "gifted" with.

Like I said above, they don't have to. El Salvadore is a sovereign nation.

Well, those are the claims being made to tug at the hearts of silly Americans who think these heinous criminals who are guilty of all sorts of brutal crimes including sex trafficking/abuse of children, gang rapes of women, murder, and other horrors are actually just suffering angels.

I don't, and I for one am glad they are out of this country and back where they belong instead of pursuing their evil crimes here in the USA.

Nope, because I don't believe it actually happened.

Say what you want. I don't believe those of you who are playing the "la la can't hear you" game. We already know y'all are soft on sexual abuse, as seen by your support for pedo trump.

Just "sob stories" to pull the heart-strings of silly left-wing pseudo-liberals and socialist-democrats here in the USA.

Stories of prison rape, which is a known phenomenon, are "sob stories"?

You just put your depraved moral compass for all to see.

You're glad they're getting raped?

There are some things I'd like to say to you, but the forum rules won't let me say them.

And yet, these "dangerous criminals" are now free. They aren't in any Prison anymore. How many do you think are already headed back to America as we speak about this? How many will be here committing those crimes you claim was justification for this action before the year is out? If one Rapes and Kills an American, who do we blame? Trump for not locking them up in a Secure Prison here in the United States for their crimes before? Do we blame Biden?

If you were picked up in the US without having entered legally and were picked up in a situation related to gang activity I'm just happy to see you gone. Gang members, gang "hang arounds", gang supporters, drug dealers, human traffickers and anyone that facilitates violent criminal acts needs to go away.

I hear people whining that "they don't have criminal convictions". Well, if they're here illegally and hanging out with criminals then I'm not really inclined to let them stay until they DO have a criminal record.

You have no standing to question anyone's moral compass when it is you who falsely accuses others of being soft on sexual abuse, and supporting a pedo Trump.
You're glad they're getting raped?
Where did you read that he is glad they are getting raped?
There are some things I'd like to say to you, but the forum rules won't let me say them.
I think you've already said more than enough.

Well, if they have been "released" as you assert, and they DO happen to make it back into the USA, then our government can charge them with the crimes they committed here and they can spend time in our prisons until released again...only this time get shipped to Somalia, or some other far-away place with a life sentence without parole if they return to the USA.

To be clear, you don't care that they were sent to a prison where they were beaten and sexually assaulted when the Trump administration could have just deported them elsewhere? Am I understanding you correctly?

no reason to believe a word of that. Or anything else you have to say.

Assuming it were true, would you be okay with it? Would you be okay with the Trump administration sending these people to a prison where they were beaten and sexually assaulted?

Isn't it bad enough you had the courage to put your name on this poll?

Do you care that these people were sent to a prison where they were beaten and sexually assaulted when the Trump administration could have just deported them elsewhere?

Does it bother you?

Yes or no.

New York jury finds Donald Trump sexually abused E Jean Carroll in civil suit.

A federal jury in New York City reached a decision Tuesday in the civil trial of advice columnist E. Jean Carroll vs. former President Donald Trump.

The jury decided that Trump was not liable for rape but was liable for sexual abuse and defamation. The jury awarded Carroll a total of $5 million in damages.

The six men and three women on the jury began deliberating Tuesday morning on the ninth day of the civil trial, which took place in Manhattan federal court.

Nope, because I don't believe it actually happened.

Assuming it were true, what would be your opinion?

The government of El Salvador has formally asserted it is the U.S., not the Central American nation, that retains “legal responsibility” for Venezuelans held in a Salvadoran megaprison, contracting Trump administration claims.

The disclosure was made to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and submitted in court filings by those challenging President Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to send some 200 Venezuelan men to be held in the country’s most notorious prison.

“The jurisdiction and legal responsibility for these persons lie exclusively with the competent foreign authorities, by virtue of international agreements signed and in accordance with the principles of sovereignty and international cooperation in criminal matters,” El Salvador said, referring to the U.S.

The comments are at odds with statements given by White House and Department of Justice officials, who have claimed they cannot seek the return of the men, as they are now in the custody of the Salvadoran government.

“El Salvador has confirmed what we and everyone else understood: it is the United States that controls what happens to the Venezuelans languishing at CECOT. Remarkably the U.S. government didn’t provide this information to us or the court,” American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) lawyer Lee Gelernt, who is representing some of the men, said in an email.

The filing from the ACLU seeks to order additional discovery in the case and argues the Trump administration violated its obligation to share information about its arrangement with El Savlador.

In an April meeting in the White House with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, President Trump said it was up to the Salvadoran leader whether to release a man who was the subject of another case — mistakenly deported Maryland man Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

And in court, the Trump administration has argued it was powerless in any effort to secure the return of the men, saying they were beyond the reach of the U.S. legal system and that their fate rests with El Salvador.

The Trump administration in mid-March deported Venezuelans to the infamous CECOT prison, known by its acronym in Spanish, as well as some Salvadorans.

A Justice Department whistleblower has accused Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove of suggesting the department may need to defy court orders grounding flights set to deport men under the Alien Enemies Act.

The Trump administration has agreed to pay El Salvador $15 million to imprison the men, according to Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), who shared the figure after traveling to El Salvador to meet with government officials as well as Abrego Garcia.

I don't, and I for one am glad they are out of this country and back where they belong instead of pursuing their evil crimes here in the USA.

The vast majority of them had no criminal record. But I know you consume a lot of news and already know that. So your comment confuses me.

Should I assume you just don't care?

Trump will never suffer like this. That is very unfortunate.

Are you saying criminals from other countries should receive preferential treatment? What, Mr. Heisenberg, are you whining about?
