Trump suggests that it could get 'very bad' if military, police, biker supporters play 'tough'

Oh 'other ports...other articles...other other other...'

Its so heart warming to see such Libbie care for fellow Americans. 'They can die and be raped...as long as Trump never gets his wall.'

Gee...aren't you an impressive citizen of the USA.

The wall won't help things. Most illegal aliens get in through other ways that won't be solved by a wall. It is foolishly naive to think that any significant change in illegal immigration will happen so long as we build a wall. That is stupid.

I think what you just said it stupid. Try and understand...just as the walls of your house work...so do walls in general.

The walls in my house only work to keep some things out, which is why we have a hepa filter and an exterminator doing preventative sprays every few months, as well as a heating and AC unit. Those walls only keep so much out. And they wouldn't keep out a determined person (go watch any zombie movie and see how well the walls keep out determined, brainless zombies who have no other purpose except to feed). And since the people that the wall is supposedly going to keep out have not only other ways of getting in, but also have a specific purpose for going over or around the wall any way they can, it isn't likely to keep them out.

Zombie movies???

Really...Zombie Movies???

You were the one who started off by trying to suggest that walls of a home and walls on a border between countries are there for the same purposes.

Besides zombie movies would be a good comparison to show the lengths that a large group of people would go through to get what they want. The vast majority on the border right now, sitting there are desperate and have single goal, getting into the US by any means necessary so that they can file for asylum. It doesn't matter if the majority aren't going to get it. They likely will just run if that is likely to happen, but the wall is not going to keep out immigrants with this purpose. It simply isn't.

Walls and houses are what we like to call "real".
Zombies? Not so much eh?

Getting into the USA by any means necessary. And yet...'Oh there's no crisis."

Instead of parroting dumb-ass crap that's obviously wrong...why don't you explain how you figure that;
A. Walls don't work
B. How flooding the USA with these unskilled migrants is gonna benefit the citizens of America?

There isn't a "crisis" because this has been going on for decades. Additionally, building a wall to handle the issue is like sending in the Army to stop a tornado, pointless.

I never said either of those things. I'm saying walls don't work to fix this issue, certainly are not cost effective in the purpose, to reduce illegal immigration significantly. I have never once contended that flooding the US with unskilled migrants benefits us. What I am saying is that we need to fight this issue by doing smart things that actually are cost effective, instead of building a stupid wall that is going to do very little to fix anything and cost us a hell of a lot of money to do that very little to nothing for the actual issue.

How about you actually counter what I've been arguing rather than making **** up. Oh, and you know why putting up a wall in this issue is far less effective than even if we were in a zombie apocalypse? Because these people can easily figure out ways around the wall, like most people who are illegally in this country now have already done.

Ahem...

Doesn't change any part of my argument. Again, I am opposed to illegal immigration. I am also opposed to wasting money on the least likely thing to stop it, a wall, especially when that wall is going to cost a hell of a lot of money to build vice other things that can be done that will have far greater effect at the same or even lower costs.

Well...considering the laws of physics...and the proof that already exists about border walls...you would be, what we like to call...WRONG!
Now why don't you just cease with this asinine BS you're trying to push.

WALLS WORK.!

WALLS WORK.!

No laws of physics prove a wall works at all for the purpose that Trump wants to build it on the border. There is no evidence that a wall will work to reduce illegal immigration in any significant way. If you have any evidence that a wall (and not other factors) reduces illegal immigration, please post it for review, otherwise, you are simply talking bull****.

Here is some evidence (some has already been posted before, but I provide more) that the wall isn't likely to work to reduce illegal immigration in any significant way.

Why the Wall Won't Work | Cato Institute

It will cost far more than $8B, far more.
Border residents fought more than a third of all land transfers, in fact. Because the Constitution promises just compensation for takings, Trump can do little to speed this process.

What about the land owners who don't want to give up their land? What about Native American tribes that own conjoining land on both sides of the border?

There are water rights to consider (which put holes in the fences and cause disasters when in place). There are migration patterns of wildlife that will cause lawsuits (you don't really think the animal conservation groups won't fight such things).

And desperate people find ways across. Especially in large numbers.

And then there are tunnels that already exist and despite popular beliefs by "build the wall" people, technology is not sufficient enough to detect these tunnels efficiently, not to mention would also cost a lot more to put in place, increasing even more if more people are going to be using tunnels to get through. Homeland Security admitted it didn't have the tech for BP needs.

In addition to the posted replies, here is more information:

The vast majority of illegal immigrants of the next 5 years are already here. They come over to the US legally and overstay visas. This has been pointed out numerous times. So if more than half of those you don't want here are coming in through some other means, then the prudent thing to do is to combat that first, focus on taking care of that huge problem rather than the small one that you have little to no evidence will work (except for maybe 1 out of every 1000 people planning to use it). Cost-benefit analysis says that building a wall is not worth it. The cost far surpass any potential benefit.
