Yesterday Trump reposted the "They're all poison" thimerosal video featuring discredited and de-licensed Mark Geier.

"They're all poison - Every. Single. One" refers to all vaccines, most of which never contained thimerosal.

I never would have guessed in a million years we would have an anti-vaxxer for a President.

Plus I doubt the very stable genius even really cares about vaccines or believes that stuff, it's just rage bait to generate more views or "ratings" which matter to his ego. A quick glance at that vaccine conspiracy truth social post shows he had 2.34K comments and 12.5k retruths. That's what matters to him, not the truth or reality.

It is still used in some cases for multi-dose vaccines. When a needle is introduced to the vial for a second (and subsequent) times bacteria can be introduced. Thimerosal kills it and also prevents nasty fungal growth.

The amount of mercury in a flu vaccine dose is about what you'd consume in a small tin of tuna.

Meanwhile, I got an email from my insurance company today reminding us to make sure we are up to date on our vaccinations.

Good reminder to sane individuals to take this opportunity to make sure your vaccinations are up to date while they are still being covered by your insurance.

Who knows what the future under these antivax crazies holds.

If Florida goes ahead and removes vaccination requirements, I'm pretty sure that the 10th Amendment would give other states an opportunity to restrict travel from FL to their states.
