When one considers the Souths economy was built and relied upon slave labor it most certainly does play a large part of US history.

This fact maybe uncomfortable to some, but it does not erase the scourge of slavery from the history books. Unless of course Trump would like to rewrite those as well.

I was in Virginia last week on business and went to Mount Vernon while I was there. There was a lot of talk about the slave contributions to Washington's estate as well as the slave quarters themselves.
