SAN DIEGO — President Donald Trump has signed an order aimed at ending federal benefits for people in the country illegally, the White House said Wednesday, his latest in a blizzard of moves to crack down on immigration.
The White House said the order seeks to end “all taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal aliens,” but it was not clear which benefits will be targeted. People in the country illegally generally do not qualify except for emergency medical care. Children are entitled to a free K-12 public education regardless of immigration status under a 1982 Supreme Court ruling.

The order notes that a 1996 welfare overhaul denies most public benefits to people in the country illegally but says that law has been gradually undermined. “Over the last 4 years, in particular, the prior administration repeatedly undercut the goals of that law, resulting in the improper expenditure of significant taxpayer resources.”

With the kind of numbers presented in that article about people "paroled" by the Biden pukes...which makes them elegible for benefits, this EO is absolutely necessary.
 
More cannon fodder for the MAGA White Nationalist base to eat up.

It is rare that someone here illegally, can obtain "federal benefits" like CHIP or WIC or Medicare/Medicaid supplement. Without seeing the actual EO we cannot even be for certain if Trump thinks he is going after K-12 education in districts that have some receipt of federal funding from the Department of Education for whatever reason.

The story suggests a plan to end that funding, which reminds me of some prior comments he has made on "concepts of a plan" or some shit.

Read your own link - they’re being covered with STATE FUNDS. Not federal.

Other states cover them also with STATE FUNDS.

Federal funding is not authorized to cover them.

States can spend their own money however they see fit.

All states have State funded Medicaid. Or the option to offer it. So you are wrong, there is ZERO federal funding for the State Funded Medicaid (that's why they call it State funded.)
