So there you have it. Trump has decided to strike Fordo. The only question remaining is when. What will be the consequences?
 
Necessary for who?
We had a nuclear deal in place with Iran and Trump tore it up.
Our own intelligence agencies say there is no indication that Iran has nuclear weapons.
So does Trump need a war to distract from his other disasters and so he can play soldier?

It doesn't seem like a mean request to ask you for your source(s) for the information you post. Just want to be sure about your credibility here, that's all. That's not a bad thing, is it?

China & Russia aren't going to let a western democracy take hold in Iran. It's too geopolitically important to both of them, in the same way Ukraine is to Europe.

This war will be long. Iran isn't going to just say sorry and do whatever the west says. They were preemptively attacked.

I think you have gotten a few things mixed up.

Signals from the Russian Federation is they want to stay as far away from this one as is possible. Except that very interesting offer to mediate.

And I can assure you that the CCP is eyeing another area of the planet right now and hasn't got time to play too many games in that Mid-East AO.

I don't know from where you are gathering your information, but you need to revise some of your notes.

Much to the regret of a lot of folks, the top bosses in Iran have gotten themselves into a heck of a mess. They may yet be able to scoot though this one without too much further loss of assets, but that nuke option they want is not gonna happen. One way or the other, that option is finished. UNLESS they can hurriedly use what they already have and try one strike on Israel within about the next couple days. BUT that would mean nukes are in the game and not just from their end.

I sure hope some of you folks remember the hottest days of the Cold War and are giving instructions to your loved ones and friends about what to stockpile, because this whole nasty business could get very nasty very fast. AND in some places you weren't/aren't looking. We are basically on a worldwide alert for any idiot that thinks it's time to strike at the U.S. and/or our allies. And President Putin is NOT one who will do that. He is smarter than that. But Xi is a question mark. And Kim is my more immediate worry. We are in sensitive times for about a week. Or less.

"Things" can change rapidly. Both the US & Russia/China are watching what Israel / Iran do. As soon as one or the other becomes threatened in a way that a major world power loses influence, all bets are off (see: Ukraine & Taiwan)

A western friendly Iran gives access to the caspien sea & total control over the strait of hormuz & persian gulf, along with a southern front fir the west with respect to Russia. Make no mistake: Iran is and always has been a proxy of China & Russia, for good reason. The Middle East has been a proxy since WW1 & WW2.

No world powers are doing anything yet because there is no immediate threat.

I will study your linked material further, but might I ask what you think is the reason for "heavy water" if a nuclear program is only for generating power for your people?

I agree with Trump that Fordo and other sites that produce nuke-weapon-materials must be eliminated for good in Iran.

The US has the capability and Iran can evacuate people beforehand.

Iran must not be allowed to get nukes, so they can destroy their archenemy, the "Zionist Entity" (= Israel), which the ayatollahs see as "cancer".

Israel must be fully protected from Iran and other Muslim encirclement (Hisbollah, Hamas, extremist Muslims in the West Bank) until "they get it" that Israel is here to stay for good !

I have no idea why Netanyahu decided a week ago to initiate this war against Iran.

That the Israeli Ambassador to the US very recently added Iran's ballistic missiles/system to the "get rid of" list leads me to suspect that Bibi's talk that Iran will have the ability to produce a nuclear weapon in the next 15 days is a bunch of malarkey that hides his and his Government's real motives.
 

Because the Israeli people were starting to wake up to the idea that Israel is committing war crimes in Gaza. They’ve had former prime ministers admitting it.

He needs to keep his wartime coalition together or else he’s going to prison for corruption.

And that is just one of three here, BUT I'd bet two hogs to your one that I can find even more CNN reporting that Iran is a threat. - - - Wait, sorry - - - 'WAS' a threat. Now it ain't no worry. Ole' Trump is doing wrong because suddenly Iran is all cool and of no concern to anyone.

Just like those posts I see following my earlier one here in this thread - - - all you folks on about how horrible Israel is and how horrible Trump is, BUT Iran --- 'WHY, they be the coolest of the cool on this planet.' My goodness, I sure wonder what it is like to live in that sort of dream world? Of course, too, if Iran WERE to drop a nuke on your city and all got killed except you, then your dream would sort of be shattered, wouldn't it? Trouble is, this topic is NOT entertainment. Your dream world is that for which some folks get sort of ... - - - Well, I can't go down that lane, can I?

How about we discuss how many citizens of another community WERE killed by those super nice leaders of Iran? That community being Israel.

Actually he is; he's talking and talking and talking, creating agitation, anger and fear. People feel like things are out of anybody's control and nobody acts rationally in that kind of atmosphere.
