WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday he was willing to wait until after the 2020 presidential election to get Congress to vote on a new healthcare plan, giving Republicans time to develop a proposal to replace Obamacare.
Congressional Republicans have been unable thus far to draft a proposal to replace Democratic President Barack Obama’s signature Affordable Care Act despite frequent vows to do so in recent years.

What a hypocritical political hack. He knows that ending Obamacare now will kill his chances of getting reelected in 2020, so why rush? And the truth is that the Repubs have nothing to replace it with.
Given that he's actively trying to get the entire ACA undone by the courts (which would destroy a good chunk of the health system) it's insane that he has no plan for how to proceed if he succeeds.
He's trying to destroy the health care system now. There's no room for "delay" and "eventually" if we're hit with yet another Trump-induced crisis.
Actually we've seen clinical quality climb and premiums for employer-sponsored insurance plateau since the ACA passed. I'm not sure what you're suggesting changed for you, since "private network plans" are "the system" in the United States. And pricing the breadth of the provider network you choose is what the market is supposed to be doing. If you want a limitless network with no associated premium to price it for you, go get in line with the single-payer crowd.
How do we know the GOP doesn't have a plan? Perhaps because we weren't born yesterday. They've been claiming a plan was right around the corner for a decade now, including during their disastrous total control of government last Congressional session. Nada.

I said nothing about getting things PASSED, I said coming up with a BETTER plan than the ACA which the Republicans have had over 8 YEARS to do so. IF they had, they could have passed it during the 2 YEARS they controlled congress.
