Trump says the Democrats want transgender for everybody and it's their fault if the government shuts down.

What I got out of that statement is they have no idea of how to govern even when they control the house and Senate.

It's not up to the Democrats to compromise, it's up to the gop if they want enough democratic votes to pass their continuing resolutions since they can't govern.

It only makes sense that he would say this. Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party around her of course could not stop defending Trans Rights during her campaign. If she wasn't talking about Freeing Palestine, she was talking about Trans Rights. You all may not remember, but Trump and the Republican base certainly do.
 
This negative obsession about the trans community, which is so so small , is demonstrative of the power RW media has over the MAGA base. They can make them angry and hateful towards anything regardless of how truly insignificant it is.

It's all appalling, but turning on war hero John McCain so viley while he was suffering from brain cancer is to their eternal shame.

I think that stroke he had is also impeding what's left of his mush brain.
 
Yes R's assisted D's in avoiding shutdowns during Biden's term. Because there was negotitation and they got something from it. R's are saying take it or leave it and the House has left town until after the shutdown.

I am 100% against shutting the government down, but this will be the R's fault. And when America sees how the Executive Branch reacts to it, they will know it.

The R's want to pass a clear CR to extend the deadline a small number of weeks. The D's are piling in additional spending and other poison pill amendments purposefully torpedoing possible compromises.
I think you are wrong in blaming the R's for this. I think it is this which America sees.

America sees congress taking a vacation until after the shutdown will begin.

I think that Trump has it wrong. Here is why:

As a nation, all the Righties need to be transgendered so they won't be such p*ssies, and will acquire some balls.

Rather than stay and negotiate a compromise, Republicans left town. That's what happened. To me, that looks like taking your ball and going home. The Democrats didn't force Johnson to do this.
 
I did some quick math, and forcible sexual reassignment surgery for 330 million people at 100k a pop would cost 33 trillion dollars. That's ~750 OldTwitters, and would double the national debt.
