The harshest words to date! Me and Vlad……….

The asshole threatens to slap 50% tariffs on Europe for who knows what....

...and simply says he's "Not Happy" when the military of Putzin the Impaler kills 12+ civilians in a 3-day span.

Is this the beginning of the end of a love affair, or just a short spat?
Not like this is a good situation Russia/Ukraine. We are trying to keep our troops out, Europe trying to keep it's troops out, and Putin knows this. The only thing to go to is very strict sanctions that cut their legs out from under them. Trumps only been in office 4 months, so he's tried negotiations, he's personally spoken to Putin, he's sent his envoy, and Putin keeps giving us the finger after making promises. Now the tone needs to change. The thing to realize is you cannot threaten stiff penalties, you can't change the tone if you are not ready to step it up another notch. What will that be and will the left bitch, or course.

trump needs to impose maximum sanctions on Russia, including sanctions on any country buying their oil. Give Ukraine the weapons to continue fighting, most of the arms come from our stored and outmoded equipment any way. They are not asking for our troops, just intelligence support and continued weaponry. Why would the left bitch? I am a strong supporter of Ukraine and I want to see them keep their country free.

He's been saying he's not happy. Someone at the outside presser today mentioned Ukraine drone attacks but Trump didn't get it.
Best thing for the USA is for Trump to remain unhappy and walk away from the 2 parties determined to war it out
Its a war of bad blood, not just territory. It's evident these 2 do not want a settlement.

Easily the biggest failure of his presidency.

His letting Putin walk all over him is rather alarming.

I dont think there are any meaningful sanctions left to use on Russia. We can ban certain exports and imports to Russia.
We removed Gazprombank from the US financial system. All that is left is secondary sanctions on countries/ entities that still do business with Russia
But we have our hands full with trade war...at some point we need to just disengage from the Ukr war

Trump "doesn't have the cards."

He basically gave Putin our country's permission to 'absorb' about 1/3 of Ukraine and all of Crimea or whatever more he can conquer a couple of month's ago. That obliges Putin to bomb these people into submission.

Trump is surprised that Putin is stringing him out. He's probably the only one in the world who is that clueless.

Putin wants him to walk away, but Trump has had to go through this pathetic charade first.

Im all for walking away. I have been from the beginning of this fiasco/disaster. Almost 300 billion in US aid for nothing
I also have said "not our war" -time to act like it

Not sure what you mean by this, but it's going to require more than "the tone needs to change". Do you think Trump saying he isn't happy in an angrier tone will change anything?
🤭

china and Asia keep Russia going. Im not an expert on Russian trade but I know we only do about 3 billion a year.
No western nation "has the cards"

My understanding is that there is an invasion that we are helping to stop. Perhaps we should put more resources there.
