Is it possible that you don't understand that much of what is in that post is why he won the election?
 
The states are not really required
Congress and the president have limited authority over how states conduct their elections, primarily through federal laws.

State Authority

Does anyone really doubt that the author of that is over-the-edge deranged? Even the most committed MAGAs, can you say that the guy who wrote that is hitting on all eight cylinders?
 
Democrats are fighting back existentially on the mid-census redistricting so now Trump is going right for it and straight at it. Which is to control the '26 midterm voting and to produce the results he likes.

As I've posted, 2024 is the last free and fair election in the USA. And that Trump will NEVER accept opposition in the US House. Bondi will do what Barr refused to do and resigned instead -- she will shout DEMOCRAT VOTER FRAUD. Trump in power and authority again has his federal flatfoot LEA et al goons to execute his will in the blue cities and states for the '26 voting to come out right, as it were.

Democrats / liberals are living, breathing and sleeping the '26 vote. If Trump sends in his federal goons to reverse the voting in numerous state and federal legislative districts -- and governor's contests -- the liberals will be furious. It is then the foggy headed liberals will accept what that means to the armed forces that draw the line at Trump cancelling or rearranging elections or their outcome.

The key word there is "election."

Your post likes the "election" of '24 but it doesn't like the looks of the "election" of '26.

What's true of your posts at all times then is MAGA ! That if you don't like or accept one election it means you don't like or accept all of 'em.

I don’t think Trump via EO has the power to do that. Article I, Section 4, The times, places and Manner of holding Elections for senators and representatives shall be prescribed in each state by the legislature thereof; but congress may at any time by law make or alter such regulations, except as to the places of choosing senators.

The portion about choosing senators was changed by the 17th amendment. The key words are manner of holding elections shall be prescribed in each state by the legislature thereof. That is unless congress makes or alters such regulations. Not the president.

Whether or not mail in ballots are allowed and the type of voting machines or paper ballots are left to the state legislatures per the Constitution. Only congress can change that, not the president and certainly not by executive order. This all boils down to the word manner in which each state legislature determines, not the president.

I don’t consider this a states rights issue, amendment 10. The Constitution is explicit. Article I, Section 2, The manner of elections which includes whether or not mail in ballots are authorized or what type of voting mechanism is used will be prescribed by each state legislature thereof. But congress can at anytime by law make changes or alter such regulations. This is covered by the Constitution itself, making the 10th amendment irrelevant. This is a Constitution issue, not a states right issue.

The relevant language in the Constitution is contained in Article I, Section 4, not Section 2. Other than that, you laid it out quite well. I have a pocket-sized US Constitution in the drawer next to me. It's going to be worn out soon due to my having to look at it so often in the past 9 years.

You’re correct, I don’t know how I got section 2 instead of section 4. But thanks for pointing that out. I think the Constitution is quite specific and in plain English. However, I don’t speak lawyerese where shall can mean shall not and shall not can mean shall or something akin to that. The bottom line in my opinion from reading plain English in Article I section 4 is only congress can override the state legislatures in the manner or how they conduct their state’s elections. The president has no power when it comes to mail in ballots or voting mechanism use.

Let me put it this way, when it comes to the SCOTUS rulings as they speak lawyerese, I usually get it wrong.
 
I thought Republicans thought it was important that the states kept their power?
