Trump says he always had autoworkers’ backs. Union leaders say his first-term record shows otherwise

This is proof that anyone continuing to be a Trump supporter are the dumbest people on earth. Hell! He can't even get the UAW endorsement! Not because they disagree with him, but because he flat out LIED to them over and over. When will the Trumpers ever wake up.

Expect Traitor Trump to be dismissive of union leadership as not being on the side of real workers.

Would be a very good idea for UAW leadership to issue a public response, point by point, to the many lies Traitor Trump is bound to tell.

Are you serious? Union LEADERSHIP disagrees with Trump? Not exactly breaking news.

The members are a much more diverse bunch politically.

Trump having your back usually ends with a knife in your back.

Trump is a liar who is trying to curry favor to get votes. He is to be mocked, ignored, and not voted for.

Trump says a lot of things.
Going to bring back the steel industry, coal industry, etc.
Not much happened during his term in office.

Trump will say whatever Trump thinks will make him look best at that very second regardless of truthfulness.

Union voters went for Clinton by 8% in ‘16, and by 17% for Biden in ‘20.

No reason to think Biden won’t win the union vote again next year.

I'm looking forward to the union workers reaction to him showing up there and acting like he supports them. He didn't do what he promised them before, it should be real interesting.

Under Trump, the Supreme Court and the National Labor Relations board became historically hostile to workers.

But I bet he doesn't even know this, or if he does, he doesn't care.

Yes, true. But that means 42-46% voted republican. The leadership supports ONLY democrats, as the political contributions indicate.

Duh.

If you read the article, you would see that they'd be crazy to do otherwise. It would be a true dereliction of duty.

No doubt, the union audience will be screened, only allowing Traitor Trump supporters to attend.

Not necessarily. Deprogramming is possible.
Yes yes yes, but you need to WANT to be deprogrammed, and Trumpers, well, they don't want to be, so they are in it for life.

That prick is going to go talk to them and try to push as much fear as he can. The UAW won't bite. Plus Donny dipshit's visit follows this one.

Biden will visit Michigan to ‘stand in solidarity’ with UAW as strike expands
