This is the article.

Is it True or False?
If true, is it a good thing, a bad thing, or a mixed value?

It ends false political ideology placed forcefully upon Americans by authoritarians.......it's good.

Trump is making air great again. /s
I assume it’s true. Trump already gave companies a template that allows them to disregard EPA air rules.

Revised to: "Trump rolling back ‘trillion dollars’ of <excessive> Dem green car regulations".

I'm all for rolling back excessive, unneeded, ineffective, cost prohibitive regulations.
Why wouldn't I be? Why wouldn't you be?

Can you demonstrate they are excessive or unneeded?

Who needs clean air, why not bring back leaded gasoline and high sulfur content diesel fuel

That's not happening, refrain from hyperbole and childish imaginations. Those who want to drive EV's are free to do so, as those who want a gasoline engine are free to do so.......it's called the free market, not authoritarianism.

Can you demonstrate they are excessive or unneeded?
Can you demonstrate gravity?
"Come on man!"

This is a far too open ended question. You'll have to be more specific.
How about we start with an automotive regulation which was rolled back as a discussion starter? Then we can chew the fat with a little focus.

Yeah, who cares if kids have clean air? Another great example of conservatives' protecting the children.

You are claiming the regulations being rolled back are “unneeded” and “excessive”. Can you back that claim up or not?

That will likely be decided by federal courts.

IMHO, it should be up to congress to add, change or delete any federal law. Having nationwide ‘standards’ subject to change by EO/EA is taking federal law making power away from congress and giving it to the executive branch.

It's a good thing if you hate your lungs, science, nature, wildlife, the human race....

what % of the USA's pollution every year comes from automobiles that the "green car" regulations impacted ?

In 2022, the transportation sector was responsible for approximately 29% f total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. right ?

about what, 20% of that 29% is personal vehicles/transportation, right ?

and, people will still buy electric cars, its not like removing the regulations will stop that, right ?

One thought, would be the added pollution coming from all that added electricity needed to charge EV's, as this added energy is a daily use which adds up, then taking it to hundreds of thousands of EV's, the extra pollution would be interesting to see.

Another obstacle is the fact that Congress codified greenhouse gases as pollutants in 2022 in the so-called Inflation Reduction Act.

Seems like sort of a hiccup in the plan.

Except there are green electricity sources too.

you watched Billy Bob Thornton in Land Man ?

Do you have any idea how much diesel they have to burn to mix the concrete or make that steel? Or haul this sh-t out here, and put it together with a 450 foot crane? You want to guess how much oil it takes to lubricate that f-cking thing, or winterize it? In its 20 year lifespan, it won’t offset the carbon footprint of making it. And don’t get me started on solar panels and the lithium in your Tesla battery…

I sense some unintended irony here.

Pretty sure a bill passed by Congress, back when it was independent of executive control, and signed into law by the executive, isn't something "placed forcefully on Americans by authoritarianism."

Not sure one can say the same the executive branch that single-handedly gutting it.

Except there are green electricity sources too.

The democrats had four years and several billion dollars to place charging stations across the country......think they made two or three? Then the thieves stealing the charging lines, etc. Compounded by the vast energy which will be needed for AI......these people are idiots.

Make lead poisoning great again.

Why is it "false political ideology"?

The Green New Scam Bill.....it failed, but the democrats hid much of it in much larger bills.....it's their idea of "democracy".
