Yeah, I mean, that's been a thing for what, 20 years now?

If you put it out there on the internet, or if you bought anything...or if you sued anyone...or are on an actuary table...etc., etc., etc., it's out there and it has been for quite some time. And for databases: probably since the dawn of the internet but I'm being conservative in the amount of years here.
