Trump orders construction to stop on a $4 billion wind farm off the coast of Rhode Island that has already mostly been built. Higher energy prices.

Do you have any idea how many MAGA on the forum are now claiming never to have voted for him?

Quite a few.
Don't know. All our residents Trump voter seems to be dug into this stupidity. I only see one person on here who said they didn't vote for Trump yet every discussion he involves himself in it's always "but the Democrats".

There are a couple I would believe didn't vote for him.

If Republicans at some point in the future try to distance themselves from this administration, don't let them.

Trump is obsessed with driving up energy prices.

Yes Trump and other Republican politicians ignore the benefits renewable energy brings also to Republican voters and states.

It's insane.

Another gift to the fossil fuel industry.

This article seems to support that

It seems the felon kept one of his "on day one" promises
Giacona said that the project, which had already cleared years of federal and state reviews, now needs to be re-examined in light of Donald Trump’s order, on the first day of his second term, to consider “terminating or amending any existing wind energy leases”.

MAGAs just aren't good at math. 70% built, enough energy for 350,000 homes.

Story at link.

The triumph of the oil-igarchs. Any steps towards alternate energy solutions will have to wait until the last drop and the last lump have been sold.
America will have to rely on hundreds of years old low-tech, burning stuff to make steam, while the rest of the world researches and innovates their way into the future.
Get used to second-rate status. Trump, to paraphrase Mavis Staples, will take you there.

Spot on

It's insane.

Yes, considering the enormous costs and risks with fossil fuels and the economic opportunities with renewable energy.
