I'm sure it's fine. Everything is going to be fine, right?

Two Trump administration officials and a Trump aide tell Rolling Stone that they have done some stockpiling of their own in recent weeks or months, and that they know others working in Republican politics — inside and outside of the administration — who are doing the same. One of the Trump officials says they have already run to Target to bulk-buy toilet paper, some types of food, and other household supplies.

Didn't realize most of our toilet paper was imported from China.

Also...food? How much of that can you reasonably hoard? Are they stocking up on hardtack or something?

Well, these are Trump officials, so obviously they're idiots.

I mean, just look at the moron who is their boss.

It’s almost like we played this “supply chain broken” game recently and folks remembered that there are other people involved…

Americans don’t react well to shortages and empty shelves in stores.

Why buy toilet paper when we have Rolling Stone?

Liberal dilemma: Trump officials are morons, but then we can't conclude their actions mean the sky is falling, OR Trump officials' actions mean the sky is falling, but then they're not morons and are loading up on goods with good reason.

Cool, you switched to the "but Liberals!" deflection as early as post #11. This is a solid improvement, @Cosmo, but it's nowhere near enough. Remember, when deflecting to the leftist filth to defend Donald's honor, it's important to arrive early. Now, the general rule of them is that you want to be one of the first 5 respondents with a deflection, so clearly you need to practice. That said, keep at it, fingers on keyboard and mouse or tablet, and try to avoid bathroom breaks. And remember, you need to plant the deflection up front. In this case you arrived to the thread early (post #3) but then completely face-planted by failing to stick the landing and launch an early deflection. Instead you veered off approved talking points to ramble on about toilet paper manufacturing and the logistics of stocking food while simultaneously deriding your fellow soldiers as idiots? Honestly... WTF? You had a perfect opportunity to talk about the Biden Crime Family or DEI stuff, but you threw away the talking points you were given and instead decided to metaphorically kick Donald and your fellow soldiers in the head. Total miss.

Next time, arrive early, deflect fast to the liberals, and make sure that post #11 on a thread is at the minimum your third reinforcement of the deflection. This is the kind of high performance game Melania is expecting from you, so please don't disappoint her.

What are you going to do, print out the online articles?
I for one feel badly for @Taylor. Imagine being on the cusp of totally owning the leftist filth, only to faceplant on a toilet paper joke. Now he's in a situation where for all eternity Americans coast to coast associate a @Taylor post with the image of an idiot wiping his butt with printer paper. It's not a good situation.

Do you think making a joke out of serious things makes you look good? It doesn't.

Let us know how wiping your butt with magazine pages works out for you.
Your comment is a real clean sweep.

Didn't you realize thatg most of our toilet paper (85%) is based on local US domestic production, only 15% comes from Canada, Chine, and Mexico?

Yep- it really leaves something to be desired, doesn’t it?

My wife and I have always tended to buy bulk when we can at Costco.

We have shelves and an extra Frig/Freezer in the garage and I've got one of those Vacuum Seal systems which has paid for itself many times over.

So we did some Costco shopping last week for our quarterly restock.

I just checked the garage and I have 5 1/2 of the Jumbo Kirkland Toilet Paper packages in the garage (about 165 roles). It was $22 a 30 count, on sale for $5.00 off.

So my ass is literally covered for months.

LOL

At least there's a certain poetic justice at the thought of the 77M Trump voters literally smelling like shit for supporting this assclown.
Yeah the whole thing does smell kinda funny.

I do almost all of my meat shopping at Sam's club, we don't have a Costco near me and I too use a vacuum sealer to break down those large packages into smaller ones. I just bought fourteen links of Italian sausage for a little more than a package of five costs in a regular grocery store including Walmart. My freezer is full of vacuum sealed meats.

Ya, my favorite is the large packs of chicken breasts and steaks.

I’ll keep two out fresh and vacuum seal the others in packages of two for the freezer.

Since I finally accomplished making good ribs on the smoker, I buy the two pack of baby backs, take a portion of the smaller end and throw it into the freezer for when it's pasta time, I use it in my gravy otherwise known as sauce, wonderful. I freeze the other two packs separately. Anyone who can afford one should have one, they save ya' quite a bit of money in the long run. I've had mine for years.
