" Trump not welcome here."

Well now they've moved the goalpost. Trump needs to say "white nationalists". Never mind he explicitly condemned HATE in all forms. Hate and racism in all forms.
Not good enough:roll:

That's not condemning white supremacy. That's just condemning the attacker. Though I'm glad he did so.

It really does not matter in the minds of the haters and their media how many times Trump condemns such acts, it will not be presented in the positive light it is intended, the will always be a “but”.

Trump has soundly condemned white supremacy and the like.

Trump calls KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists 'repugnant'

During an event at the White House on Monday when he directly condemned white supremacists and neo-Nazis in a brief statement to reporters.
"Racism is evil -- and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans," Trump said in response to the attacks in Charlottesville, Virginia.

"Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America," Trump said.

Or you can enter "Trump calls KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists 'repugnant'" into any browser and choose any source you approve of.

Trump signs resolution condemning white supremacy

The resolution condemns “the racist violence and domestic terrorist attack” in Charlottesville, where a suspected white supremacist was accused of plowing a car into a crowd of counter protesters, killing one and injuring more than a dozen others.

It also rejects “white nationalism, white supremacy, and neo-Nazism as hateful expressions of intolerance that are contradictory to the values that define the people of the United States.”

Then a year later Trump said:
"The riots in Charlottesville a year ago resulted in senseless death and division. We must come together as a nation. I condemn all types of racism and acts of violence. Peace to ALL Americans!"

That was a proper reminder that all types of racism and acts of violence is condemned and wishing peace to all Americans. But the media and the haters cannot allow a positive from Trump, it must be presented in a negative manner, so accordingly it is mixed in with long discourse that attempts to shew people’s minds to see only a negative.
What should have simply a postive statement was challanged with things like; “Trump's decision to mention violence on "many sides" immediately drew scrutiny.”

Even though what Trump said was correct, racism and acts of violence come from all sides, that can’t be allowed to stand.
"This is not a time for vagaries. This isn't a time for innuendo or to allow room to be read between the lines. This is a time to lay blame ... on white supremacists, on white nationalism and on hatred," Said rino Senator Cory Gardner.

Trump responed with: "Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans. Again a correct statement, but can’t let that stand.

Even some of the GOP seem to desire to help the detractors by becoming rino’s , Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan said Trump "messed up."
"It sounded like a moral equivocation or at the very least moral ambiguity when we need extreme moral clarity,"

Your conclusion that Trump is "earning the vilification" does not even follow your argument, which for some reason is an off-point red herring complaint about Hillary Clinton's reputation being undeserved, and her own "no win" situation.

That said you did a poor job in attempting a comparison; this has nothing to do with agreeing whether she did or did not do anything positive in the eyes of critics, the issue is the critics intentional "damned if you do and damn'ed if you don't" disingenuous framing. Clinton was never damned for her semi-regret in retrospect, except in so far it failed to acknowledge her unlawful conduct and intentional misdeed.

That slate is calling trump a racist? Not even mildly surprised.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I467 using Tapatalk

According to the linked article, Slate called no one a racist. Nor did the article call Trump a racist. Reading comprehension continues to dog the Trumpian members here.

Do you know President Trump personally?

Oh yes, I forgot that Trump has acknowledged his rotten and unlawful conduct (like for instance his personal cell phone that the Chinese and Russian are listening to while he talks to his closest friends, which is exactly what Hillary was accused and reviled for).

Give me a break!

Do you know President Trump personally?

Oh yes, I do know Trump personally. He has been in my living room every day for the past 2+ years. I know that he has a high ego, loves to grab women's ******s, separated mothers from their children and never bothered to keep records as to where they were sent (lost forever), hates Democrats, changes his mind on a dime, is very unhappy about anyone that doesn't pay him lip service, thinks he can do it all by himself, bankrupted 6 companies, failed to pay his workers (3500 of them), scammed people with his online College, slept with at least 2 other women, one of which he slept with when his wife was pregnant, loves Putin and Kim Yung-un, walks with toilet paper stuck in his shoes..............Do you want me to go on?

I know him well.

I know this bimbo just as well.

It really does not matter in the minds of the haters and their media how many times Trump condemns such acts, it will not be presented in the positive light it is intended, the will always be a “but”.

Maybe because he also said...

Trump said:
You had some very bad people in that group [in KKK Charlottesville rally], but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides

Trump said:
I have had horrible rulings, I have been treated unfairly by this judge ... Now this judge is of Mexican heritage, I'm building a wall.

Trump said:
Why are we having all these people from ****hole countries come here?

Trump said:
They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

Some stuff he says is by reading teleprompter, and some stuff is not... Guess which kind are the above statements...

I would say that this is more demonstrative of confirmation bias. If you are to presume that everything that someone says is insincere, or, even if sincere, has sinister motivations behind it, then everything that one says will come off as insincere and sinister.

I agree. One reason among many that I did not vote for Donald Trump was because he was too casual and coy with white supremacists like David Duke and casually flirted with the white nationalist Alt Right. It must be asked what Donald Trump does in response to these hate crimes. In this case, Donald Trump’s Department of Justice is seeking the death penalty against this monster. Which as far as condemnation goes literally does not get any stronger than that. In countries in which the head of government is alright with massacres of ethnic minorities and political opponents, the people who carry out these attacks are somehow never found by the thorough police investigations. See Russia, or Turkey, or Venezuela for examples.

Actually, Luckyone, I rarely listen to what Trump says. I generally only go back and listen to his statements to determine whether his statements are being distorted by mainstream media outlets whose overall animus towards the man is just as naked and partisan towards Trump as his animus towards them. If one is determined to believe Trump is an absolute heartless monster, one can find evidence for it. Much the same way as the people who believed Barack Obama was a foreign-born plant who wished to destroy America from the inside, and believed that the color of the suits he chose was proof positive of it. Seek and ye shall find.

Your replies make "general" sense but it also suggests that you don't have the ability to determine who is lying to you beforehand. I would then suggest to you that you respond to those emails about winning the UK lottery and that you send money to the emails from Nigeria that make you their representative in your community and after you do let me know if you think the same.

By the way, in my life I worked with one person that was much like Trump in every way and he was a likable person and one with whom I made money with. Nonetheless, the end result of that relationship, many people lost their money and he was sued repeatedly and in the process and because of my relationship with him I was black listed with other companies that were in the same industry.

In addition, this man was ultimately put in jail for making love with his girlfriend's daughter who was only 14 at the time.

I know the type of person that Trump is, I have worked with someone like him and have seen Trump do many of the same things the man I knew did. In addition, I have been a salesman all my life and a very successful one at that and I know how to read people, it was what determined my success. You may not have that ability and therefore maybe you should listen to people like me that do

Trump hung those signs on some his housing projects back in the 70's..Got sued, lost, settled for doing it, too.

LOL...

I don't recall there being any signs? Just innuendoes that may or may not be true, and at his bosses direction if true.

You have to remember the times as well. There were so many people who would not consider buying next to blacks back then.

Why hasn't the left learned from our sins of the past?

In years gone by it was not uncommon on pub doors to see the following sign " No Blacks, No Dogs, No Irish". Thank God things have moved on, as many pubs now allow dogs in

Do two wrongs make a right?

Hasn't the left learned from our sins, as a nation, of the past?
