Nope…Id hope we would have learned something from our past experiences. I have a son who was left disabled from our last conflict so while you’re all giddy about people dying and war some of us understand the reality that war never has winners, only losersYou hope.
That's normal autocratic stuff. I would wager also worse now.The Shah also tortured and murdered people who wanted democracy. Thats very liberal, right?
It's better than the public forklift or defenestration they get now. Reformation has certainly been set back by the Islamic regime. The Shah had gays put in prison. Is that liberal?
You might find out that the silent majority doesn’t agree with the crazed leftists. It's an excellent start but we need 3-4x the numbers, and it needs to start happening week after week, month after month. The silent majority needs to start making noise.
The world where violent acts prophylactically prevents an assumed potential to commit violence I suppose?Surely Trump will be awarded the prize now!
I mean, he’s crying about not getting it a few hours ago…then unilaterally attacks another country without provocation.
What world are we living in?

This needs repeatingIndependent agencies and our own confirmed the deal was working. Iran was adhering. But it all you guys ever do with this stuff is tell everyone all intel you don’t like is nonsense while cheering on Colin Powell at the UN lying us into a war. TRump’s own admin just testified before congress Iran wasn’t developing a nuke. The Republican argument seems to be we need to rely on our intel agencies except when it comes to countries they’ve wanted to bomb for decades.
@Gardener thinks he’s on to something here. What liberalism exactly is there to support? The Israeli Jewish Nationalist apartheid state? The theocratic Gulf monarchies?
How many more promises does Trump need to break before MAGAS smell the coffee.Nope…Id hope we would have learned something from our past experiences. OPEC is comprised of 12 nations Iran is one of them.I'd almost wager Trump had the Saudi's blessing for the strikes.
I find it interesting that you prefer the religious dictatorship that shits all over women and gays to the secular one that shit all over the religious kooks who do just that.It was an authoritarian police state backed by the US. We may not agree with the current regimes religious authoritarianism, but is was just a reaction to the previous one’s “secular” dictatorship.
Reality means nothing when you have to make up lies and excuses for Dear Leader.Who overthrew the Shah and why?
Answer that and you might have a clue what the actual **** you’re talking about.
People like you and the Islamic revolution are a different side of the same coin.
Except it’s crazier cause it’s for someone so unbelievably stupid as Trump.
My statement is accurate. I gave no timeline I just said we are closer to the Tribulation.Give it a rest. This is what the religious right was saying throughout the Iraq War, which they foolishly cheered on.
What is telling is that you accuse others of hating this country merely to get a reaction (I hope that is the actual case, but I suspect that is probably giving you the benefit of the doubt)Seriously, let's not put anymore lamebrain ideas into the heads of those who hate this country.
It's telling.
I thank you for your service. If you had been around here for more than two days, you would know that I have already served and done my 20. Already did my time in the sandbox.
Last time your side sold us on yellow cake, we kicked off quite the extended war.Checking in on MSDNC for a bit tonight. It sounds like they are now almost banking on the idea of the U.S. entering a new endless war. Dems are really going to struggle with a narrative, coming out of tonight. Where will they head next, if their initial narratives don't become reality or the public doesn't buy the initial narratives they so hope will make Trump look bad.
The other narrative is none of this makes any sense - because Iran was not anywhere near nuclear capabilities and no one was in danger from Iran.
And finally, this was clearly an "unconstitutional" action from Trump. Also, they are pretty confident this will ignite big division within the Republican party - because of the differing views going into this plan.
So, they're off and running with their narratives.

I don't believe anybody has ever made the argument the Shah was a 2025 US liberal. That would be silly. It's a strawman argument. The argument is his regime was liberal, in comparison to Iran now or other Islamic regimes. So you agree the Shah was an autocrat and not “liberal”. Good.
My statement is accurate. I gave no timeline I just said we are closer to the Tribulation.
There will never be peace in this world until God forcefully removes His enemies. You should know that the enemies of Israel are the enemies of God. I’m not cheering for anything but just giving you the facts. It’s got zero to do with the religious right but everything to do with Bible prophecy.
I have ilk? Why didn't you tell me directly?@Gardener thinks he’s on to something here.
No way his ilk or the GOP escape for what Iran turned into the last 70-some years.
They can just move?I think the leaders of Iran need another reminder, like the picture of their homes, if they have the slightest thought of a response.
Well we saw how long MAGAs could keep their non-interventionist stance goingWon't it be interesting to see if and just how far the left might go with a pro-Iran stance?
