Trump has been reported to be looking for his Roy Cohn:

But Cohn died in 1986, and Trump is still in search of a substitute. In his account of Trump's first year in the White House, writer Michael Wolff said Trump would often ask the question out loud, to no one in particular: "Where's my Roy Cohn?"

The resemblance is striking, imo.

Cohn was quite the piece of work. He formed Trump in his own image. Quite amazing all the dubious characters in Trump's life. The Stormy case really opened my eyes the slime balls Trump surrounded himself with. Good people don't live in those worlds,

When I think back to the first go around with Trump I was shocked that so many people were okay with Trump hanging out with people like Stone, Manafort, Flynn, Bannon etc.
Creeps and criminals.

They weren't just OK with it- they love him exactly BECAUSE of it.

It's like if you're gonna hire yourself a hit man to take out your perceived enemies, you're not gonna go get yourself some fine upstanding citizens.

I know, it's positively head shaking to see what people will accept from their electeds. Maybe it speaks to who they are and their personal values
