With ten months out before the Nov.3rd election, it's looking mighty good for President Trump.

President Trump's approval among Republicans hits 94%, at its highest level ever!
Half of the country's registered voters say Trump deserves to be re-elected!
President Donald Trump's job approval rating has risen to 49%, his highest in Gallup polling since he was sworn into office in 2017!

Trump Job Approval at Personal Best 49%

Great, so to be clear, only slightly more than half of all Americans disapprove of our president. Not really much of a win is it? FYI, the right's beloved Rasmussen has him three points lower but feel free to cherry pick any poll that suits the conversation.

It's a win. Even Obama's approval rating wasn't as high ten months before he was reelected.

Presidential Approval Ratings -- Barack Obama | Gallup Historical Data & Trends

I think many people miss the fact that the two are directly related. In Trump's case, we see that nearly half the country approve of a racist, womanizing, bullying, rich, spoiled brat, draft dodging white man. On the other, we saw that nearly half the nation hated a black president regardless of how well things were going and what all he had done that was good. Those two go directly hand in hand.

This country still hasn't moved on from the 60's. Go figure since most of the people in Washington were there and took active parts and had they had their way, we'd still be there.

As Casey Stengel said." the key to good management is keeping the nine guys who hate your guts away from the nine guys who haven't made up their minds. "Failing at that suppress the vote of those who hate your guts.

I think it's hilarious that you guys celebrate numbers that for any other president would be terrible as if it's some kind of victory.

That. So much that.

What's more, it's his HIGHEST. In January of 2009, President Obama's approval rating was 69%.

I think what this poll says is directly related to the impeachment. We all know what the democrats and republicans have to say about it, but this time it's the public voicing their opinion. If the public thought that the president was guilty of actions that warranted impeachment, he wouldn't be hitting an all time high in his approval rating.

Wow, what a way to make an entrance... Make the thread about those racist Trump voters.

Got anything else? :nails

Just stating fact. The numbers correlate exactly.

Read. the. thread.

Obama's approval numbers were lower than Trump's ten months out before the presidential election.
Was that hilarious too? Some kind of victory for Obama?

Or are you simply fearing the facts? No matter how hard the Democrats tried to muddy Trump up, it only helped his job approval numbers; the highest now at any point in his presidency.

He's also made gains with independents and that can't be good for anyone but Trump.

Not talking about Obama are we? Whataboutism doesn't work on me.

In this case the comparison is relevant to the point that you made. You said his numbers aren't so great, right? If that's so, then Obama's numbers were worse, and yet, he was still reelected.

Sorry, when did I mention Obama? What I said was that over half of Americans disapprove of the President, that's a sad state for any president so don't twist my words because you have no reply.

That's when the poor morons didn't know yet what was in store for them ... HOPE was still on the horizon and CHANGE hadn't blown it away yet.

I was just going to post this myself but you beat me to the punch. I can't wait for the spin on this since Democrats kept on clamoring that the majority of Americans wanted him removed from office. Democrats just can't win for losing. Everything they touch turns to lead.

So, since a majority of the country approves of a racist, womanizing, bullying, rich, spoiled brat, draft dodging white man - how do you expect to win? And don't forget about the electoral college.

Ummmmmm, Trix pointed out that his numbers are better than Obama's at this point in his presidency.

I mean, it's not great, but it's not bad. Trump will be running on a very strong economy, which is typically a platform that is rarely overcome. Still, because it's Trump, there is a significant probability that whomever the Dems pick, they can beat him.
