trump is such an incompetent con artist, it makes no sense how gullible his supports are

Decades ago, during the lead up to the Iraq invasion, someone describe these folks as the "pre-fooled"

They want to believe.
They very badly want to believe.

All they need is for someone to give them an opening to believe what they want to believe.


Thing is, any of us could be in that situation for someone selling the right bullshit we want to believe.
Humans are inherently vulnerable to this sort of thing.

That's it in a nutshell, they want to believe. Just the other day Pence had to explain to a woman the constitution does not give him the power trump said it does, right to her face in person, she still believed trump.
