Your source says, "Even before this administration’s draconian cuts, the hotline has been woefully underfunded, with resources to answer only about half of its calls and messages." And yet you are eager to blame "cuts" in the Trump budget for causing a lack of help for victims of abuse.

Why aren't you blaming the Biden administration for conditions that existed, "Even before this administration’s draconian cuts,?"

The GOP controlled the HOR in 2024.
Today the Labor, Health, and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies (LHHS) Appropriations Subcommittee marked up and passed the FY25 LHHS appropriations bill, which includes drastic cuts in funding to key programs that address intimate partner violence across the country.


While the bill continues to provide essential funding for The National Domestic Violence Hotline (The Hotline) and the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA), it eliminates funding for the Domestic Violence Prevention Enhancements and Leadership Through Alliances (DELTA) Program, Rape Prevention Education Program (RPE), women’s health initiatives, the Department of Labor’s Women’s Bureau, and blocks the implementation of the Department of Education’s newly released Title IX rule.

I just hopped in to bemoan the partisanship that's apparent in the "but Biden" deflections to seemingly every bad thing that Trump does.

"Yeah but where were you when Biden did stupid shit."

Being partisan like that is just not a great way to go about it. In the meantime, stupid shit is happening to the country and they have us attacking each other instead. Not everyone is just attacking Trump because of the R. Sometimes Trump actually does objectively stupid shit.

Well when the other party does it and you vote for them it's the same thing. It's hypocritical to criticize what you do when other people do it.

That's why 98% of this stuff just doesn't affect anybody that's because it's coming from people who are guilty of it themselves.

Well the toilet that kicks illegal aliens out of someone that gets my vote. The one that steals less money from me through taxes they get my vote I don't care who else they're stealing it from or if they're going into debt that's a spending issue I can't do anything about that.
