Donald Trump appeared to confuse Vice President Kamala Harris and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley during a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday night.

At his first rally since President Joe Biden endorsed Harris for the candidacy, Trump attempted to give his “radical” new opponent his full attention—but he couldn’t seem to muster the specifics necessary to actually attack her policies.

Because Harris has that amazingly horrible laugh and tends to be very lighthearted in public, people forget who she is and how she got where she is. She's a ruthless DA who will drop a train on someone then have a giggle on TV about something entirely unrelated a few minutes later, then sleep like a baby.

I'm not saying she's a bad person. A degree of ruthlessness is necessary in an officer of the court. But I think Trump and his pals forgot all that until she was suddenly the apparent candidate. Now they're shitting themselves, and Trump is on TV hollering about removing the burden of voting from us, if we'll just vote for him this one time. I think Americans forget the Veep. The concentration is so narrowed on the President that the Veep isn't really that well known beyond a voting record.

I saw a clip of her where she reeled off the top of her head the types of crimes and criminals she had prosecuted over the years and it was all courtroom level presentation.. 'We the jury'. Until the very end, where she wrapped up the list with "so I am well qualified AND experienced in dealing with the likes of Donald Trump."

It was a closing argument the jury, us, could NOT ignore.

I thought at the time if she pursues Trump like a criminal trial he's done.

I've attended a lot of trials and seen some very good courtroom work. from that one statement I would say she's the best I've ever seen.

Yep, she's the kind that could slice and dice a fraud in the morning and convict a rapist in the afternoon and not even think it was a day's work.
