Can you show us evidence that every homeless person is a drug user or that mentally ill people are the same? You're lumping all these folks into one basket which is plainly not true.
If you are keeping track with the homeless issue you would also know and acknowledge the many crimes, committed by these homeless people living openly on the streets of America. There have been numerous stories by different sources of the crime, the drug use, the filth in the streets, and the numerous violent attacks on people perpetrated by some of these people. It's a real problem and often takes place in school zones, in the shopping districts of cities, along the subway system in many large cities and many want to turn a blind eye.
