President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Jeffrey Epstein “stole” young women from his Mar-a-Lago beach club spa decades ago.

“People were taken out of the spa, hired by him. In other words, gone,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One. “When I heard about it, I told him, I said, listen, we don’t want you taking our people, whether it’s spa or not spa … And he was fine. And not too long after he did it again. And I said outta here.”

“I have a great spa,” Trump added. “One of the best spas in the world at Mar-a-Lago.”

The anecdote comes a day after Trump said that he severed ties with the disgraced financier and child sex offender, who died in prison by suicide six years ago, after “he stole people who worked for me.”

When asked whether one of those young women was Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most vocal accusers, he said “I think so. I think that was one of the people,” adding that Epstein “stole her.”

“And by the way, she had no complaints about us whatsoever,” the president added.

Stunning news.

I cannot believe Trump would simply offer this up. There must be more leaks coming.

Epstein was hiring away Trump employees.

That would explain why Trump banned him from Mar-a-Lago.

typical trump buffoonery..."she had no complaints about us whatsoever"? really? how does he know that?

I'll bite.
Trump can't keep his stories about Epstein straight. Which indicates to me that he is lying about him. Why?

It’s additional proof Trump can’t keep his lies straight and he’s doing whatever he can to obfuscate his real relationship with Epstein.

From the op below. He's is a creep because he stole workers.

"The president was also asked aboard the plane whether the relationship soured because he was a “creep” or whether it was because he “stole workers” from him: "

That’s your conflation not his.

Epstein was "taking" underage spa workers to do what? Epstein didn't have a spa. Why did Trump have underage girls working (Virginia Guiffre) at his spa?

Trump didn't say they were underage.

Epstein was hiring away Trump employees.

That would explain why Trump banned him from Mar-a-Lago.

“Sarah Blaskey, a Miami Herald investigative reporter who co-wrote the book, told her newspaper in an article published Tuesdaythat according to another Mar-a-Lago member, Trump "kicked Epstein out after Epstein harassed the daughter of a member."

"The way this person described it, such an act could irreparably harm the Trump brand, leaving Donald no choice but to remove Epstein," Blaskey said.“

Trump's admission proves:

1. Trump knew that Epstein recruited at least victim from Trump's own workplace.

2. The victim was 16 years old at the time she was recruited from Trump's workplace.

3. Trump, by his own account, was angered by Epstein's action.

4. This happened in 2000, and Trump only severed his relationship with Epstein in 2004, and some evidence indicatives his relationship with Epstein ended in 2007, not 2004 as Trump claims.

--

If I put my conspiracy theory hat on: this is an indication Trump may have known about Epstein's operation for at least several years, even having some responsibility over at least one of the victims by way of employing her, but did nothing to stop it.

If I take my conspiracy theory hat off: why the heck is he talking about this, and referencing her by name all of a sudden? It's strange. Why is he changing his story? I thought he said he had a falling out with Epstein over real estate. This wasn't about real estate. This was about Epstein "stealing" underage spa employees. That's strange. Trump's comments invite speculation because they are suspicious.

I don't know what happened. I don't know what's going to happen. All I know is that Trump's actions, from beginning to end, are strange and suspicious. And I now am interested in knowing what the DOJ's files about Epstein say about Trump.

We went from “it’s all a hoax,” to where we are now. Wanna do the timeline? Giuffre was “poached” in 2000 and in 2002, Trump made his glowing statement about his pal Jeffrey and how he liked his women young. He didn’t split with Epstein until 2004. The “hoax” was instigated by the Biden, Comey, Brennan cabal, why didn’t they use it after they had “doctored” the files?

Do you think your professed confusion has moral authority?

You know exactly what this is about. The question is why you defend Trump no matter what.

I didn’t realize there was as such a gap between this incident and their break up. Thanks for pointing that out.

it was about real estate...or harassing the daughter of a member..or "stealing" people. or something.
when stories change constantly, when someone can't keep the lies straight, that's a sign of a problem.

It's really hard to keep track of everything because Trump is a pathological liar who has a cult that repeats his lies constantly.

An underage minimum wage employee? Why would Trump be mad about an underage minimum wage employee being "stolen" from him?

If Epstein "stole" an executive maybe. Not someone folding towels. Anyone can fold towels. Trump was mad for a different reason.
