Who do YOU think paid the tariffs? I know that the Democrat-Socialist Propaganda said that customers paid the tariffs, but there were no price increases on the imported goods.

Can you produce any evidence to support your belief that anyone but the Chinese paid the tariffs?

Can you produce evidence to show the Chinese paid the tariff?

Tariffs are set by the importing country, collected by the importing country, and paid by importers in that country whether or not they pass on the increase to consumers.

Not once does your link say China pays the tariff. In fact in doesn't make any mention of who pays. Another nice example of Trump's challenges with the truth though. You have provided evidence of nothing you've claimed.

Here's a couple of quotes from a Tax Policy Center article:

Trump lied to you when he told you the tariffs he placed on Chinese imports would be paid by China. Trump doesn't understand how government works either.

Seems to be a huge discrepancy here. The Dems are impeaching Trump so that he can't ever hold office again and yet you are trying to claim that with a 34% approval rating, he couldn't ever win office again. Which way is it? Can he win again or not? If so, then the 34% number is bogus BS.

There are a few reasons

1. Principal - the dude fostered violence over losing an election, spouted conspiracy theories about fake voting. tried to pressure a GA official to invent votes, and generally showed he is unfit for office
2. Even if he runs and loses - he will likely try the same violent tactic again
3. PR - This helps get the message out to the American people just how depraved the actions of Jan 6 and pattern of behavior leading up to it were, stemming even from 2015 to 2021.
4. If by some fluke he does win again he will just trash the country for another 4 years given his record job losses and deaths under his watch

You seemed to have been trying to imply that the sellers of the products pays the tariffs.

The CCP owns EVERYTHING in China. That's what Communism is.

As such, China both sold the products and paid the tariffs.

Importers pay tariffs, not exporters.
