I ask because in your homeless thread earlier today you got outraged about how little help we offer our homeless, and yet here it's closer to "get a job, you lazy schlub!"

Are you just that mercurial, or are you working? Maybe you can blow my **** off by rationalizing that?

Hope you get home in one piece, though my gut says you're already there.
 
Cutting food stamps is child's play he needs to cut the entire Department of Health and Human Services plus HUD.

No food stamps for drugs!
 
Op is wrong as usual. He obviously has no idea what the issue actually is, which involves people in areas where unemployment is at least *20%* above the national average.

Trump did not just take food stamps from people who REALLY need them, he stole food right out of babies mouths.

What is interesting to me, other than military people would fall into those who no longer are eligible(they may have been exempted, which would be good, but still highlights a problem), is that this is republicans taking away the states control over a program, kinda anti-conservatism.

So what this thread should teach the OP is that making **** up is a piss poor debate strategy. Most of us here know how to use google and can refute the made up ****.

I see less and less religion and living as Christ among Trump Republicans. I'm glad they dropped the veil.

Not responsive to my point.

In his other thread, he was saying "homeless need help!" and here it is "able-bodied people should fend for themselves!"

Since many/most homeless people are able-bodied, I hope you see the inconsistency here.

Do you think able-bodied homeless people should be given food assistance, in any form?

Is that helping those in need, or enabling a loafer?
 

I had to read several sources to see who ultimately is targeted by this, and they are a bit all over the place.

It does seem like there will be a few areas not as economically improved in the crosshairs.
