Trump Demands That Bondi Move ‘Now’ to Prosecute Foes

Profit should not be a factor in giving health care. You would have any undocumented aliens just die, but anyone with an ounce of humanity knows that they deserve the same care as anyone else. The Hippocratic Oath demands it. If hospitals have to treat everyone regardless of immigration status, they either get reimbursed or they raise costs for all of us. You are actually hurting yourself in the long run if the undocumented can't be helped with with state sponsored programs. Yes, blue states, the ones that care about all people, are more likely to allow Medicaid funds to be used for undocumented aliens. You will also find that those are the states with the best, most affordable health care for all.

But regardless of all that, it is clear that you believe in states' rights only when they do what you like.
You summed it up pretty well. YOu are a Liberal, and believe all states should provide health care for illegal aliens.
Does it bother you to live in a red state?

Missouri Political Map – Democrat & Republican Areas in Missouri

Compared to the nation as a whole, Missouri leans more republican. Highly educated populations with bachelor’s degrees or higher tend to vote for more liberal candidates.

Yes, I am a proud Liberal. Yes, all people deserve health care as a human right. It bothers me a lot that I live in such a backward state, although I do live in a blue area of that state. The great Missouri Democrats of the past like Harry Truman and Stuart Symington must be turning over in their graves. Missouri was once a progressive place, and I am confident that we will be once again.

I find it interesting that you're willing to admit that more highly educated people are more liberal. Ever thought about why that is?

You are suggesting "that more highly educated people are more liberal.".
I am highly educated, based on my two degrees, but I am certainly NOT more Liberal. How does that square with your conclusion?
I guess you're going to have to work harder within your red state to make MO a blue state so that Liberals have a greater chance to give people a national health care system. That has not happened yet. But 2026 and 2028 are coming where Democrats can win back political power after a disastrous 2024 election.

I wasn't suggesting. This is a direct quote from your post. "Highly educated populations with bachelor’s degrees or higher tend to vote for more liberal candidates." You are the exception that proves the rule.

I sometimes love being the exception. My dog thinks so.
So smarter people, according to their level of education, tend to vote for those candidates who support blue state progressive politics along with laws favoring sanctuary cities.
I'm glad to be on the RIGHT side of the political fence.
It's the blue states and blue cities that are taking all the political heat these days from the Administration that the people elected to clean out the big cities with the greatest number of illegal aliens. That's OK by me.

There is nothing to "clean out." Things have been just fine in those cities. Actually, there are probably far more undocumented aliens in rural areas, picking crops and working in chicken processing plants. Our economy would collapse without them, so Trump, to take attention away from Epstein and all his other failures, sends troops to major cities.

I am not worried about Trump's other motives.
The more illegal trash he cleans out of our cities, the better off we all are.
And as for crop pickers and chicken slaughterers, I have no problem with them. They serve a useful function in our economy. And that goes for home builders and hospitality workers.
Let them work and pay taxes.

The problem is that Trump is not cleaning out trash. He is bringing more in, in masks yet. The children, the old people, the decent hard working people being harassed, handcuffed, and arrested are not trash. This is not the country that was once the envy of the world.

The undocumented who pick crops and process chickens do work and pay taxes, yet they are being arrested and deported.

"This is not the country that was once the envy of the world."

You mean that's why millions of migrants have stopped coming to our Southern border?
We aren't the envy of the world any more?
Who sent out that Instagram message?

You need to pay attention to more news sources than just the right wing bubble. Try BBC World Service, for example. you will learn what the rest of the world thinks of us because of Trump. You won't like it, but it is reality.

And just how "what the world is thinking of us" changing how Trump is dealing with allies and those countries that need U.S. markets for economic growth?
You seem to believe their attitude toward us is impacting how we deal with foreign countries.
Where and how is that evidenced?

Trump lives in his bubble. He has no clue about how reviled he is around the world. Their attitude towards us should affect how we deal with them, but it doesn't. So Trump, with his ridiculous tariffs and his need to be the center of attention, is harming our economic growth. You could have looked this up, but I've saved you the trouble.

"World leaders' views of Donald Trump are generally complex, varied, and often divided, depending on the country, the leader's own ideology, and specific policy outcomes.

Here is a general breakdown of the perspectives:

1. Traditional Allies (e.g., Europe, Canada, Mexico)

  • Concern and Uncertainty: Many traditional US allies often express concern over his "America First" foreign policy, which has been characterized as transactional and sometimes hostile toward long-standing alliances. Actions like the use of tariffs, criticism of NATO members' defense spending, and skepticism towards international agreements (like the Paris Agreement) have led to lower overall confidence in his leadership, as indicated by various international surveys.

  • Perception of Unpredictability: Many find his style, which includes personal diplomacy, abrupt policy shifts, and public criticism of allied leaders, to be unpredictable and disruptive to the established global order.

  • Ideological Split: Within these countries, leaders and publics on the political right and those in populist movements tend to view him more favorably than those on the left.

2. Geopolitical Rivals and Adversaries

  • Mixed Reactions: Leaders of countries often viewed as rivals to the US, such as those in Russia and China, have had complex relationships with him. His approach has, at times, led to increased tensions (e.g., trade disputes with China) but has also been seen by some as potentially weakening Western alliances, which they may view as advantageous.

3. Specific Partnerships

  • Strong Support (e.g., Israel, Hungary, Poland): Leaders and right-wing political factions in certain nations, particularly Israel and some Central and Eastern European countries like Hungary, have shown strong support. This is often due to his hardline stance on issues like the Middle East conflict (e.g., strong support for Israel) or his alignment with their anti-establishment and nationalist political positions.

  • Diplomatic Successes: His administration has secured diplomatic deals, such as the Abraham Accords and recent ceasefire efforts in the Middle East. These successes have drawn praise from regional leaders and some diplomatic observers who credit his direct, results-oriented style.

Key Themes

  • "Strong Leader" Perception: Despite overall low confidence in his handling of global affairs, many people internationally view him as a "strong leader."
  • Transactional Diplomacy: His foreign policy is often described as transactional, prioritizing immediate US national interests (economic or political) over multilateral agreements, human rights, or democratic values abroad. This has led to both friction with allies and surprising diplomatic breakthroughs.

  • Focus on Domestic Issues: World leaders are keenly aware that his foreign policy is often driven by a focus on domestic political goals and fulfilling campaign promises.
In summary, the view of Donald Trump among world leaders is not monolithic. It ranges from deep distrust and anxiety among many traditional democratic allies to strong approval and cooperation from leaders whose policies align with his "America First" and anti-globalist stance."

Notice that it's only far right dictators that like him.

Or maybe you just don't understand the strategic logic behind calculated tariffs to create a more even trade playing field.
The fact you call these calculated tariffs shows you are completely ignorant

I guess when someone cannot grasp the overall strategy of calculated tariffs, they immediately launch into personal attacks to prove they are right.
Engaging in personal attacks is indicative of a refusal or inability to engage in an open and honest discussion.

You should take your heartfelt complaints and make signs for protesters who share your imagined fears.
I am more concerned with ICE agents and their families put in danger because of A**holes who want to expose their identities so they can be harassed and threatened.

Dobbs is not wrong. If women wish to kill babies in the womb they can go to one of 24 states that still allow abortions.
Ice agents are just cops. Cops don’t wear masks so your excuse is bullshit.

So exactly what is your point?
There are global leaders who favor Trump and some who don't.
What else is new?
Again, how are these relationships impacting how Trump is dealing with global leaders?

Or maybe you just don't understand the strategic logic behind calculated tariffs to create a more even trade playing field.

Half this administration can't even speak or Tweet without falling on their faces.

And you are trying to tell me that these same dopes can deal in "logic" or anything "calculated"?

Ones who favor him: Putin, Xi, Kim, and maybe that dude in Argentina.

That's not the selling point you may have assumed it was.

You will lie to yourself and try to convince yourself that you support the right guy. Meanwhile our precious democracy is slipping away. Our country has lost the respect of our allies and is being played for a fool by our enemies.

If I don't support the duly elected president of the country, then who would you suggest I support?

And as far as our allies not giving Trump the respect the expects, does that mean those allies won't come to us for advanced weapons, the nuclear protection we offer NATO members, oil and gas when they need it, and military intelligence every country needs?
Why in the world would you worry about our allies respecting the U.S.?
You don't care about them and they don't care about you.
But they do care about what America can provide to them in the event of a crisis.

It's not a question of whom you should support; it's a question of what you should support, and that's democracy. Trump weakens our democracy, and our country, more every day.

Butt-Face President Chump is going to leave the office before the end of his term.

See how simple that was. It was as if a vision of a beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean while sitting on the Florida beach having a cafe espresso popped into my head.
