Finding this or any limit intolerable, Trump now demands more emergency power. When Congress returns they must give me more power so I can clean up and make Washington beautiful. But they don't live in fantasy land, according to them it's the Democrats who are detached from reality. America is becoming a police state under trump because he swears crime is out of control in D.C. so he said screw the metro police, I'm sending in my good squads to eliminate the problem that doesn't exist. A procedure that might be rather involved and potentially dangerous, but scheduled in advance and prepared for. That's routine. Normal crime that happens in every city every day is such an event. Routine.

Now. Arriving at the Hospital with a Bumper in your Spleen is not a routine surgery. It is emergency Surgery. Oh it happens every day, or something similar does. But the preparation is not the same. You might have eaten or be on medications that would make the surgery more risky. Instead of preparing the field for the surgery, it is done as soon as possible because if they don't the patient, you will die.

From the moment you arrive at the Hospital they are trying desperately to save your life, and are going to make choices that may not be good, but are the least worst. This is an emergency.

The Patients prepare themselves with special soap the night before to reduce the chance of infection. They stop eating and drinking hours before the surgery to empty their stomach to reduce the risk of complications. They change the medications they are taking so that their daily meds don't interfere with or increase the risk of the surgery.
