Trump campaigned on America First. His supporters practically chanted it. They celebrated the end of US AID and shrugged at the American Farmers it hurt.

Now that Trump is unable to accomplish the things he said he would, he isn’t admitting it is hard. Trump won’t admit it was nonsense. Instead he is redefining the term America First. Just like he redefined Birthright Citizenship, Patriotism, and those Dangerous Illegals he was going to focus on.

Don't forget the classified documents.

Very “Socialism with Chinese characteristics” vibes.

“Well, considering that I’m the one that developed ‘America First,’ and considering that the term wasn’t used until I came along, I think I’m the one that decides that,” Trump told me.

Talking out of his ass…..

And into his diaper.

Oh, the toddler invents new words and phrases all of the time.

Recently he invented the word "equalize"

The same actions that despots always take.

I heard that Trump is also claiming credit for inventing the Exclamation Point! Apparently he wants a dollar for every time someone uses it.
And 50 cents for every capital letter someone uses.

I honestly don’t care what he intends to do with the phrase. It’s an old KKK slogan.

Trump's "America First" principles are as deep and wide as the bumper sticker it's written on.

What the King declares is the law, people.

One might criticize Trump for reviving a saying from the 1930 that isolationists and fascist supporters used… but to be fair to Trump, he likely knows nothing of that history.

I believe that is the only orifice he has to talk out of.

Trump is not the first politician to use the term "America First". I suspect some will accept Trump at his word. I prefer to fact check much of what he says.

Here is just one source.
America First is a policy in the United States that emphasizes the fundamental notion of "putting America first", which generally involves disregarding global affairs and focusing solely on domestic policy in the United States. This generally denotes policies of non-interventionism, American nationalism, and protectionist trade policy.[1]

The term was coined by President Woodrow Wilson[2] in his 1916 campaign that pledged to keep America neutral in World War I. A more non-interventionist approach gained prominence in the interwar period (1918–1939); it was also advocated by the America First Committee, a non-interventionist pressure group against U.S. entry into World War II.[3]

President Woodrow Wilson, a hardened internationalist, ironically coined the term today associated with Nationalism. In 1916, Wilson was running for re-election by promising to remain neutral in WWl. His campaign slogan was: “He kept us out of War, America First.” Once Wilson was safely re-elected, he ordered troops into what was, at the time, called “The Great War.”

His phrase that the statement that ‘America First’ wasn’t used until he came along by Trump tells us all we need to know about his grasp of history… or reality. No Donald, you didn’t develop it.

Groceries……..

Idiot Trump undid Obama’s nuclear agreement with Iran out of petty spite and jealousy. Now he thinks he will fix a problem that he created. Too late, his good buddy Netanyahu has already FUBAR’d that. So much for Trump the great peacemaker. Things are only getting worse under his neglectful and lazy watch. It takes too much real effort to negotiate peace and Trump doesn’t have the staying power or the ability to do it. He is so self absorbed he thinks he invented a thing that happened before the beginning of WW II.

My decision not to vote for Trump keeps looking better by the day.

I couldn’t believe it last year when antiwar Libertarians like Scott Horton and Dave Smith announced they were voting for Trump because they thought he would be better on noninterventionism than Harris. I like both of them, but, man, that was NOT a good call. Not saying Harris would have been good on this issue, I didn’t vote for either major party candidate, but the notion that Trump was the “peace” candidate was a scam as far as I was concerned.

Most elections are a choice between two bad options. In Trump's case, the only worse option would be Ebola.
