"In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be NO violence, NO lawbreaking and NO vandalism of any kind," the president said in a statement to Fox News. "That is not what I stand for and it is not what America stands for. I call on ALL Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers. Thank You."

Trump has a podium and a camera whenever he wants one!

Antifa and BLM don't give a rat's ass what Trump calls for.

This is such bullshit.

He is scared of criminal prosecution so he is saying this.
He has spent 5 years calling for violence.

Plus, it's nothing but a nod and a wink to "his people."

1) A day late and a dollar short.

2) I thought the Big Tech Libs censored him. Now he's making publicly accessible videos? What's up with that?

They weren't there because they didn't get a Presidential invitation. Non-fascists weren't on his mailing list.

Jesus he took his sweet time after firing them up for months. I suppose the QAnon crowd thinks it's just a wink and a nod.
But yet Trump still did not discourage his extremist followers from assembling in Washington. only this time please not be so quite violent and destructive this time. He didn't say for them to "stand down" and he still hasn't made any public statement recognizing that Joe Biden is the rightfully elected next President of the United States. He merely did the absolute bare minimum, if even that, to actively defuse the potential danger of further violence in the days ahead. Which I'm sure he would probably love to see.

Well considering all the lowlife fascist insurrectionists running around I can see how the anti fascists wouldn't give a rat's ass what Trump calls for.

and considering the MAGA Auxillery racist fascist white nationalist scumbags and Qanon batcrap crazies who perpetrated the attack, and his response to racial injustice and the unrest it spawned makes BLM caring what he calls for rather moot, wouldnt you say?

I mean its not like he thought to mention any deep felt regrets or condolances to the families of the dead and injured or the "Biden won the election fair and square". But I did notice after the belated denunciation of violence and throwing his most ardent supporters completely under the bus, he spent a longer time whining about how unfairly he's been treated by social media. TRUE TO FRIGGIN FORM

Yup, he's just looking for plausible deniability

Its beginning to appear that Trumps plan all along was to rile up the crazies then declare them bad, and pretend that he is great for stopping them. A political false flags of sorts.

Because as it turns out Antifa and BLM are more patriotic than Trump's followers.
Yep. They took over a city and burned, looted and pillaged it. They vandalized monuments in Washington, including the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial and the Brigadier General Casimir Pulaski statue in Freedom Plaza. They caused anarchy in cities across the U.S. Yes, they're patriotic alright...

On Wednesday, after weeks of refusing to accept the outcome of the election, President Trump’s supporters stormed the Capitol of the United States as members of Congress were meeting to carry out their duties to certify the election results and confirm Joe Biden’s victory.
