This is another example of how the gop goes about its dirty business of misinformation and lies to garner support from the base.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday called for Democratic mega-donor George Soros and his son, Alexander, to face federal racketeering charges for supporting “violent protests.”

The Republican, in a post to his Truth Social site, did not specify which protests he believed Soros and his son had supported. But it is the most recent example of Trump using the power of his office to pursue retribution against political opponents.

Once again, no proof just an accusation so we can be assured the faithful will be repeating on here and the base will swallow the bullshit whole.

What violent protests did Soros specifically support and in what way did he support them? The details are a bit thin.

Someone remind me - how many January 6 rioters did Trump pardon?

This is a PERFECT strategy, it will get Righties hard and it will distract them from the Epstein files.

Not to mention that Soros is an old Jew and that always gets Righties worked up.

None, it's all bullshit lying from trump, nothing more.

The conspiracy and racketeering laws are serious business. He risks having all his assets seized, which is sizable to say the least. But that what you get for supporting terrorist, which seems to be the in-vogue thing for the left.

Donald wants to go after people who incite "violent protests."

It's a ****ing clown you MAGAs worship.
I am surprised he is going after the old Jew, I thought his targets were Muslims, black and brown people, gay and transgender people.

Stand by for the MAGA monkeys to praise Taco taking on "DUH GLOBALISTS."
Already happened, just read some of the comments above yours. That lot are as predictable as the sun rising in the east.

This is just another charge to add to the list in dumpytits upcoming impeachment.

trump saying he wants to go after an opponent for 'supporting violent protests' as he directly not only supported but ordered the most infamous protest in US history, a violent assault on the US Capitol as it certified the election results in a scheme to try to steal the presidency, I need to award a nomination for the "Irony of the year" award. In addition to it being trump weaponizing the Justice system corruptly - MORE irony with his lies about that.

Trump didn't call the AG or the DOJ. He made a public announcement that will go nowhere. There will be no charges filed, no indictment from a grand jury. No trial. No conviction. The point of the announcement is to generate headlines - headlines that don't have the words "EPSTEIN FILES" in them.

And what happens when Trump is out of office and a democrat is elected? The RICO statute applies to everyone.

The Georgia case is still hanging out there !!

Should the next president indict Trump on racketeering charges for supporting the violent protests on January 6th 2021? Or would that just be "lawfare?"
