President Donald Trump made a joke about his nickname for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), “Pocahontas,” during an event honoring Native Americans Monday at the White House.

I think that Warren and her supporters should start referring to the president as "Gravy Crockett" because he's fat and walks around with a bleached raccoon on his head.

Fair is fair.

Our elected "leaders" on both sides of the political aisle lost their dignity and professional bearing a long time ago.....so long as "we the people" keep electing/re-electing these people, then "We the people" are the ones that that should bear the brunt of their stupidity.....watching them conduct themselves like petulant 3rd graders is a self inflicted wound.

Perhaps its time to dump all incumbents and start with a clean slate.

I don't see much to recommend either side of the red/blue aisle.....both are just as guilty at playing the name game, and both have their fair share of corruption; Which is why I advocated electing new leadership across the board.

Okay but do you not think there is a difference between those four names? Do you think that helps Native American relations when our leader throws out and calls someone Pocahontas because they incorrectly identified their heritage as Native American? This is not acceptable behavior.

You can throw out ten different names but it doesn't change the fact that calling someone Pocahontas disrespects Native Americans whereas calling someone Cheeto only disrespects a delicious orange snack.

When Warren lied about her Indian background, she made that fair play. But I did and still do think it is beneath this or any other president to go around calling other names. During the primaries and even during an general election campaign, Okay. I didn't like it then, but election campaigns have become nothing more than smear campaigns these days. They totally lack substance, ideas or visions where a candidate wants to take this country. Apparently smear campaigns work. If they didn't our politicians wouldn't use them.
