Trump bashing going no where

People are bored stiff and realize the thing is over. Only the Dems in Congress and the unhinged base are holding out hope.
 

According to Trump and Republican leadership, their base is largely composed of cowardly racists, and that's a huge chunk of America. So how is this a surprise?

It sure looks like the hate that CNN was and is selling is getting old. Perhaps America is finally waking up and saying "These guys have been wrong so many times, amd are filled with such hate, why should I watch them any more. I'm going over to Fox"

This is what I am hoping to restore my faith in humanity but I doubt it. I hope that there is only so much hate speech against a president people can take until they tune it out.
 
Strange thing to decide that CNN's ratings are based entirely on this.

They are still looking for ways to impeach him. Dredging up the Mueller report now. Maybe they should dust off the Nixon impeachment records and find someone from there who hates Trump too and call him in.

CNNis in the tank because they are ridiculously Trump haters. MSDNC will be next. If they didn't have the impeachment to keep people watching, the only people watching them would be their mom and dad.
 
CNN is low in ratings because most of their hosts are boring as hell.

Their act is tired and stale now. People know they lie and are wrong too much. Ask Fedo about how well people can hear someone else's phone call.
 
CNN ratings have long suffered from their centrist-leaning, both-sides-are-equal journalism. They criticize Trump, just like every legit journalism organization. Big deal. Objective journalism would require calling the entire Republican party, from top-to-bottom, an illegitimate fascist racket.

In order to be a Trump hater you have to be a remotely normal human being, and not a Jim Jones level cultist. Have another drink of Kool-Aid.

I asked for a causal link, not a thesaurus. Do I need to clarify to you what that means?
 
I dont think they are moving anywhere. I think the message saturation is so heavy that many feel overloaded with it and are tuning it out. They more than likely still hate Trump but they dont enjoy tuning into the constant barrage of it from those networks.

Republicans should be careful of falling into the trap of confusing TV ratings with support or lack of it. My personal opinion is that the lack of ratings is an indication that at this stage people have mostly decided if they are for or against it. I would not expect any signifacant ratings spike unless Trump speaks in the Senate, if that happens.

Another trap regarding ratings that i think the gop may be falling into is that because fox has the most viewership they conclude that their base is more united. It discounts the fact that if you comvine the viewership of both CNN and MSNBC it beats Fox.

Good post. I think one of the reasons they are tanking is because their lineup just isn't all that likable. Cuomo always comes off as arrogant, cocky, and know it all but if he just mellowed out and admitted he is wrong often, he might be more appealing. He could have used that Fredo tag as a joke and had fun with it. The latest gaffe being his phone call which proved just the opposite of what he hoped.

Don Lemon is perceived as a race baiter and always looking at things through the lens of a black man. Everything to him is racist or has racist intent and he comes off as an angry person and very unfunny.

Stelter is a known liar and won't admit it. Like Schiff, except he is sort of likable. He is just too young and has a high voice like a girl and is really unappealing looks wise.

Cooper is one of those elitist type personalities who thinks he has the keys to all knowledge. To me he is not likable or funny, even when he did the New Years Day thing with that gal that ruined her career when she decapitated a sitting president for laughs. May be funny to her and to leftists but not the majority of Americans.

Then they parade the likes of Avenatti, Clapper, Brennan and other really far left people and laud them. Anyone can see that they are in the tank with the DNC.

Finally, the owner is a baiter for his own personal gain. He demanded they talk about impeachment 24/7 because that's where the ratings and money is. It's not about NEWS. It's about money and ratings for him. In short, he is a whore. Zucker is also one of the ugliest meanest looking guys on the planet with zero personality. They make loads of money off Trump bashing. When he's gone, so will they.

It appears that their desire to defend the constitution is one of the reasons that they aren't watching CNN as much.

News for you, bud- nobody on the left invests any importance in CNN's ratings. We're not like rightists who see everything in the world as "us versus them".
Tell you something else- if CNN has been losing viewers you can be sure they haven't all hitched their pants up under their armpits and tuned in to Fox. They've just changed the channel to another network you don't like much.

That over the last year CNN and MSNBC have lost about half their viewers is not in dispute.

If you had counter information you would be showing it.
