CNN — In a monumental ruling Friday, a federal judge ordered Donald Trump attorney Evan Corcoran to provide additional testimony as part of an investigation into the former president’s handling of classified documents, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.​
Corcoran has the potential to become one of the most crucial witnesses in special counsel Jack Smith’s criminal investigation into possible mishandling of classified records after the Trump presidency and obstruction of justice.​
District Judge Beryl Howell said in an order under seal that Justice Department prosecutors have met the threshold for the crime-fraud exception for Corcoran, the source said.​

It would be reassuring to America to see prison systems competing to see which one will incarcerate Trump first.

And after all. That's what Trump always meant by 'America First.' It was always white wash for 'Trump First.'

Yup, it's the world against trump because after all trump has done nothing that deserves this kind of attention from law enforcement. I say just do what the republicans want to do, disband the gop, make it illegal to be a republican. Lock them up.

So, John Durham doesn't count for the same thing. Barr had him literally search the globe for crimes on democrats. He came up flat.

Sorry if your conservative prosecutors are incompetent. Or is possible that democrats are just not criminals?

U.S. District Judge James “Jeb” Boasberg is being sworn in Friday as chief judge of the federal district court in Washington, D.C. That role will give Boasberg, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, oversight of grand jury matters as well as sealed disputes that have surfaced in probes involving Trump.​

This means that matters of law will be decided within established precedent, as opposed to disregarding them in the manner of the far-right wingnut judges appointed by Trump, like this one, or this one, or soon to-be-this one.

Yep. Barr and Durham did everything they could to protect Trump-criminals while beating the bushes for some crime, any crime committed by those rascally Democrats. And came up embarrassingly empty.

This is great effing news. When I heard Judge Howell was leaving her post, I was worried about her replacement. No way we could have withstood a Trump judge coming into that position.

All these investigations are going be with us for a long while. All the more reason to make damn sure a democrat retains the WH.

Hope all Judge James “Jeb” Boasberg's cases go to the Supreme Court for a final decision. We know which side the swift sword of justice will come down on then.

No, the problem is that Trump has been an understudy of Fred Trump, John Gotti and Putin and thus can not color inside the lines. The man lives outside of the law. Outlaws ultimately face justice. It appears to now be that season for Trump.

This 'poor little persecuted Donnie' thing gets old. There are multiple investigations in multiple jurisdictions under the direction of multiple prosecutors covering multiple crimes, but ONE common denominator. Why is that? Think about it. Then tell us why is it that Republicans can not take responsibility for anything?

Meanwhile, this is "political" only because Trump chose to run to make it political. If he really cared about America (and he doesn't), he would step aside to deal with his personal problems personally, not dragging everyone else through his personal filth.
